This year has a plethora of Kings prospects spread across the globe, enhanced by nine selections at the 2025 NHL Draft — which was the combined total they left the 2023 and 2024 Drafts with. We’re keeping an eye on all of the LA hopefuls in our weekly Prospect Tracker. This week’s report features a top-10 rankings shuffle in college hockey, international play at the Five Nations tournament, and a blockbuster WHL trade. The following notes cover games played through the end of day Monday, November 10th.
Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Henry Brzustewicz, London Knights, RH Defenseman (31st overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 7 goals, 4 assists, minus-2, 24 PIM in 15 games played
It was a two-point weekend for the Kings most recent first-round pick. Both came on odd man rushes, one via a 3-on-1 goal and another by way of a 2-on-1 assist. Brzustewicz also received his second misconduct in two weeks, this time for repeatedly tucking his jersey. After being warned about it earlier in the week against Guelph, he was assessed a 10-minute penalty late in the second period on Friday for doing it again against Kingston. No suspension is imminent for the below-the-belt maneuver. Clearly the league is watching though.

Jan Chovan, Sudbury Wolves, Center/Right Wing (184th overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 4 goals, 4 assists, minus-15, 0 PIM in 17 games played
Chovan scored a beauty of a goal on Thursday to open the scoring for Sudbury. After corralling a chip pass in the slot, he went forehand, backhand, and tucked the puck behind the skate of Barrie’s goalie. Ultimately, Sudbury lost the game 6-2 and went 0-3 for the week. Despite playing on the OHL’s last-place team, Chovan is just shy of being a half-a-point-per-game player during his first season in North America, a strong start for the two-way winger.

Carter George, Owen Sound Attack, Goalie (57th overall in 2024)
2025-26 Stats: 2.82 GAA, .910 SV%, 1 SO, 1 assist, 7 wins in 13 games played
George wasn’t scheduled to start on Wednesday against Sarnia yet ended up playing anyway after his backup was pulled early. The game was 3-0 when George entered and ended 6-4, with the LA prospect making 20 saves on 23 shots in the defeat. He bounced back with an outstanding performance on Saturday against London, stopping 40 of 42 shots. However, Owen Sound’s offense managed only two goals, and the game ended in a 3-2 shootout loss. Their place in the standings remains unchanged, as the Attack hold the third spot in the OHL.
Liam Greentree, Windsor Spitfires, Right Wing (26th overall in 2024)
2025-26 Stats: 12 goals, 9 assists, plus-1, 17 PIM in 13 games played
LA’s 2024 first-round pick is playing like a man on a mission. After missing the 50-goal mark by one last season, Greentree is on pace for 60 this year, averaging a goal per game. This past week he found the back of the net three times: once in a 3-0 win against Kingston and twice in a 6-3 victory over Brampton, including the game winner. Windsor is first in the West, and only two points behind Brampton for No. 1 in the league.

Jimmy Lombardi, Flint Firebirds, Center (125th overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 9 goals, 12 assists, plus-4, 20 PIM in 16 games played
Lombardi is on a heater of late, picking up five points across a two-game homestand and 21 points in 16 games. The skilled centerman tallied a goal and two assists in Friday’s 9-3 thrashing of North Bay. He followed up that performance with two goals in Saturday’s 6-3 victory over Guelph. Lombardi is now on pace for 87 points in 2025-26, nearly double his career-high of 45 points last season.

Jared Woolley, London Knights, LH Defenseman (164th overall in 2024)
2025-26 Stats: 5 goals, 7 assists, plus-10, 21 PIM in 13 games played
Woolley has been strong on both sides of the ice thus far this season. He recorded two assists this week and leads all London defensemen with a plus-10 rating. One helper came shorthanded against Guelph, as he slowed down on a two-on-one to hit the trailing forward for a goal. Woolley also generated five shots on the week, including a high-danger chance against fellow Kings prospect Carter George on Saturday. After winning two of their three games this week, the reigning Memorial Cup champions are holding down sixth place in the OHL with an 11-4-3 record.

Western Hockey League (WHL)
Will Sharpe, Kelowna Rockets, LH Defenseman (216th overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 2 goals, 6 assists, minus-2, 6 PIM in 10 games played
Sharpe was out this week with an illness. Kelowna still won two of their three games, despite being down to only five defensemen in the lineup. Notably, Kelowna acquired the rights to Vojtech Cihar, the Kings second-round pick from Czechia, in a trade with Lethbridge (see below for more).
COLLEGE HOCKEY (NCAA)
Ryan Conmy, Boston College, Right Wing (182nd overall in 2023)
2025-26 Stats: 2 goals, 0 assists, minus-2, 4 PIM in 9 games played
Conmy and Boston College swept Vermont this weekend, with the sixth-round pick maintaining his high-motor style and generating chances consistently. Despite being on a six-game pointless streak, Conmy continues to shoot the puck, averaging three shots per game while keeping up the same aggressive mentality that produced two power-play goals in his first three games. The scoring hasn’t come yet, but his shooting volume suggests it’s around the corner. BC held steady at No. 18 in the national rankings following the sweep of unranked Vermont.
Kristian Epperson, Univ. of Denver, Left Wing (88th overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 4 goals, 1 assist, plus-3, 8 PIM in 10 games played
Epperson went pointless in Friday’s 3-1 win over No. 4-ranked Western Michigan before opening the scoring Saturday by forcing a turnover and scoring off a pass in front of the net. Denver completed the sweep with a 6-3 victory over fellow Kings prospect Hampton Slukynsky and the Broncos, taking WMU’s spot at No. 4 in the national rankings.

Caeden Herrington, Univ. of Vermont, RH Defenseman (120th overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 1 goal, 3 assists, minus-3, 8 PIM in 8 games played
Vermont was unable to win either of their two games against Boston College this week, yet Herrington was able to find the scoresheet with an assist. The helper came on a game-tying goal in the late third period Friday, as Herrington walked along the blue line and fired the puck towards the goal, putting his team in a position to score on the rebound. Unfortunately, BC scored in the closing minutes of that game to win 2-1, then blanked Vermont 5-0 on Saturday. The Catamounts sit at 3-5 on the year.

Brendan McMorrow, Univ. of Denver, Left Wing (196th overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 1 goal, 2 assists, plus-3, 4 PIM in 8 games played
McMorrow got to the dirty areas throughout the weekend series against Western Michigan, generating dangerous chances from in tight during the first contest. The hard-working freshman’s effort and speed paid off in the second game with an assist on a give-and-go, putting Denver up 6-2. He also recorded a season-high four shots on goal in that contest.

James Reeder, Univ. of Denver, Right Wing (198th overall in 2024)
2025-26 Stats: 4 goals, 3 assists, plus-7, 0 PIM in 10 games played
Reeder showcased his transition game against WMU, generating strong neutral zone carries and clean offensive zone entries on Friday, despite not registering a point. That same playstyle paid off Saturday, as he had a takeaway to set up a play and notched a secondary assist. He followed that helper with a goal 10 minutes later, finding open space in the slot, where he received a pass and fired it top shelf. After the huge wins this weekend, Denver is 6-3-1 on the season. Reeder is averaging 17:25 of ice time per game. That’s fourth on the team, with all junior players in front of him — which helps highlight the trust coach David Carle has in the second year forward.

Hampton Slukynsky, Western Michigan Univ., Goalie (118th overall in 2023)
2025-26 Stats: 2.91 GAA, .883 SV%, 1 SO, 5 wins in 8 games played
It was a difficult weekend for Western Michigan after losing top defenseman Joona Väisänen to injury for the foreseeable future. With their blue line depleted, they dropped both games in a back-to-back series against Denver. Slukynsky stopped 26 shots Friday, and then 22 shots Saturday. He also appeared to struggle a bit with rebound control and second-chance opportunities. WMU dropped from No. 4 to No. 9 in the national rankings following the sweep.
Jack Sparkes, Clarkson Univ., RH Defenseman (180th overall in 2022)
2025-26 Stats: 0 goals, 0 assists, minus-2, 10 PIM in 9 games played
Sparkes was a healthy scratch Thursday before returning to the lineup in Saturday’s 5-1 loss to RPI. The sixth-round pick has five shots and four blocked shots through nine games. Clarkson is 4-6 on the season.
EUROPEAN LEAGUES
Vojtech Cihar, Czechia-HC Energie Karlovy Vary, Forward (59th overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 2 goals, 3 assists, minus-2, 8 PIM in 20 games played
Cihar represented Czechia at the Five Nations tournament during Extraliga’s schedule break. He recorded two goals against Slovakia, posting a total of five points in four games (sixth-most in the tournament).
Meanwhile, his WHL rights were traded from Lethbridge to Kelowna (WHL) in a multi-piece deal. If he makes the move to North America, it would help the 2025 second-round pick adjust to smaller ice and a more physical style of play before turning pro. He’d also join fellow Kings prospect Will Sharpe in Kelowna as they’re beefing up for a Memorial Cup run. From what we’re hearing, a deal isn’t finalized for Cihar to come to Canada quite yet; but thing are progressing in that direction.
Petteri Rimpinen, Liiga-Kiekko-Espoo, Goalie (152nd overall in 2025)
2025-26 Stats: 2.36 GAA, .899 SV%, 1 SO, 6 wins in 14 games played
Rimpinen won both of his starts for Finland at the Five Nations tournament, stopping 29 of 32 shots for a .906 save percentage. The fifth-round pick also signed a one-year extension with Kiekko-Espoo during the break and is expected to start Wednesday against TPS Turku. His team sits six points behind first-place Assat in the Liiga standings.
