Hockey is back, and so is the Mayor’s Manor Prospect Tracker. This season we look forward to keeping you informed each week on the all the latest news involving Kings prospects playing around the globe in Canadian junior leagues, college hockey, and with various European programs. The following reports cover games played through end of day Sunday, October 5th.

Ontario Hockey League (OHL)

Henry Brzustewicz, London Knights, RH Defenseman (31st overall in 2025)

2025-2026 Stats: 0 goals, 2 assists, minus-3, 0 PIM in 4 games played

Brzustewicz displayed poise Friday, slowing down to find the trailer on a three-on-two and feeding him for the Knights’ overtime winner against the Firebirds. The 18-year-old has two helpers through four games, but is still finding his footing in his own end, posting a minus-3 rating.

Jan Chovan, Sudbury Wolves, Center/Right Wing (184th overall in 2025)

2025-2026 Stats: 0 goals, 0 assists, minus-4, 0 PIM in 4 games played

Nothing doing for the Kings’ sixth-round pick in this week’s action, as he’s been held off the board in his first four games in North America. The Wolves are currently winless and in last place in the OHL. Chovan will look to bounce back after a week-long break, with a back-to-back against the Bulldogs and Otters.

Carter George, Owen Sound Attack, Goalie (57th overall in 2024)

2025-2026 Stats: 2.45 GAA, .913 SV%, 0 SO, 1 assist, 3 wins in 4 games played

George has posted a solid 3-1 record through his first four starts despite an unfortunate own goal against Kitchener. The netminder made 26 saves while allowing three goals (two on the powerplay) in Sunday’s 6-3 victory over Windsor, who were previously unbeaten this season and ranked as the OHL’s top team. George fired two attempts at the empty net in the closing minutes and tallied an assist.

Liam Greentree, Windsor Spitfires, Right Wing (26th overall in 2024)

2025-2026 Stats: 3 goals, 2 assists, even plus/minus, 2 PIM in 3 games played

LA’s top prospect got off to a strong start in his return to the OHL, recording points in all three games this week. The skilled winger netted a powerplay goal from the slot in Windsor’s 4-3 shootout win over Hamilton, then added two more against fellow Kings prospect Carter George in Sunday’s 6-3 loss to Owen Sound (one on the powerplay and the other shorthanded). Greentree is averaging 6.3 shots per game early on.

Wayyyy too easy (but we love to see it)

Jimmy Lombardi, Flint Firebirds, Center (125th overall in 2025)

2025-2026 Stats: 0 goals, 3 assists, even plus/minus, 4 PIM in 4 games played

Lombardi centered the top line in Saturday’s contest, creating chances from his left-circle office on the powerplay. The fourth-round pick generated two high-danger looks early from the slot and later planted himself in front of the crease to screen the goalie on Flint’s opening tally.

Jared Woolley, London Knights, LH Defenseman (164th overall in 2024)

2025-2026 Stats: 4 goals, 2 assists, plus-3, 7 PIM in 4 games played

Currently the Kings’ highest scoring prospect, Woolley extended his point streak to four games with the primary assist on London’s overtime winner over Guelph. Earlier in the first period, he held his own in a scrap after making contact with the opposing goaltender.

Western Hockey League (WHL)

Will Sharpe, Kelowna Rockets, LH Defenseman (216th overall in 2025)

2025-2026 Stats: 0 goals, 1 assist, plus-1, 0 PIM in 1 game played

After missing the first two games with an upper-body injury (likely related to the abdominal injury that held him out of Kings Rookie Camp in September), Sharpe drew into the lineup as the seventh defenseman last Saturday. He tallied an assist on a breakout feed from the goal line and showed offensive instincts by jumping into the rush multiple times.

COLLEGE HOCKEY (NCAA)

Ryan Conmy, Boston College, Right Wing (182nd overall in 2023)

2025-2026 Stats: 1 goal, 0 assists, even plus/minus, 0 PIM in 1 game played

Conmy announced his arrival at Boston College with a powerplay goal in his debut, showcasing soft hands by redirecting a pass from his skates to his stick before beating the goalie low blocker side. Getting time on both the top line and first powerplay unit alongside seventh-overall pick James Hagens (Bruins), Conmy once again looks poised to have another strong season.

Kristian Epperson, Univ. of Denver, Left Wing (88th overall in 2025)

Epperson had two shots against UNLV in a preseason exhibition game, yet was otherwise held off the scoresheet. LA’s third-round pick should make his official regular season collegiate debut when the Pioneers open their season Friday against the Air Force Academy. DU will enter play ranked No. 5 in the country.

Caeden Herrington, Univ. of Vermont, RH Defenseman (120th overall in 2025)

In an exhibition game against Brock, Herrington found his sweet spot at the left faceoff dot, notching two assists from there and nearly a third on a disallowed goal. He also contributed three shots on goal in the 5-2 Vermont victory.

Brendan McMorrow, Univ. of Denver, Left Wing (196th overall in 2025)

McMorrow did not dress for Denver’s preseason contest.

James Reeder, Univ. of Denver, Right Wing (198th overall in 2024)

Skating on Denver’s top line, Reeder recorded two assists in the Pioneers’ 6-1 exhibition rout of UNLV. The sophomore showcased his two-way game by reading a play in the neutral zone, intercepting a pass, and wheeling up ice to set up his second helper.

Hampton Slukynsky, Western Michigan Univ., Goalie (118th overall in 2023)

LA’s No. 1 goalie prospect posted a shutout with 11 saves in Western Michigan’s dominant 7-0 exhibition victory over the U.S. National Team Development Program.

Jack Sparkes, Clarkson Univ., RH Defenseman (180th overall in 2022)

2025-2026 Stats: 0 goals, 0 assists, even plus/minus, 0 PIM in 1 game played

Sparkes, a 6-foot-8 shutdown defenseman, did not record a point in Clarkson’s 3-1 loss to Canisius.

EUROPEAN LEAGUES

Vojtech Cihar, Czechia-HC Energie Karlovy Vary, Forward (59th overall in 2025)

2025-2026 Stats: 1 goal, 2 assists, minus-2, 0 PIM in 11 games played

The two-way forward has not put much on the scoreboard quite yet, registering only 3 points in 11 games, but is still on pace to beat his 9 point total from last season. In Sunday’s contest against Kometa, he applied strong backchecking pressure and showed an active stick in the defensive zone.

Petteri Rimpinen, Liiga-Kiekko-Espoo, Goalie (152nd overall in 2025)

2025-2026 Stats: 2.43 GAA, .901 SV%, 0 SO, 4 wins in 7 games played

Rimpinen has gotten off to a slower start than expected this season. His GAA and save percentage through seven games are both slightly behind than last year’s marks. The fifth-round pick has still managed to post four wins as he works to find consistency in his second full season of Liiga action.
