With the Kings having more college hockey prospects than ever before, there’s going to be plenty of action available on TV throughout the 2025-26 season. Some NCAA programs have already had their opening nights, while others will get going this weekend. Beginning later today, a few of LA’s

Clarkson at Penn State

Airing on the Big10 Network (DirecTV channel 610) today at 3:30pm Pacific, this is a game that is sure to receive national attention. Next year’s projected top overall pick in the NHL Draft (Gavin McKenna) leads the way for Penn State. On the other side, big LA prospect — as in 6-foot-8 — Jack Sparkes is back at Clarkson for his second collegiate season. Following their surprise run in the ECAC tournament last spring, Clarkson is looking to take steps forward with their program this year. It will be tough ask on Thursday vs. the No. 4 ranked Nittany Lions.

Boston College at Minnesota

For the second-half of today’s doubleheader on the Big10 Network (DirecTV channel 610), it’s a showdown between No. 11 Boston College and No. 12 Minnesota. Kings prospect Ryan Conmy made his debut with BC last weekend, scoring his first goal as a member of the Eagles. Originally drafted by LA in 2023, he’s had three strong showings at Dev Camp over that span. There’s a chance he turns pro after this season. Look for him in jersey No. 36, he should be fairly easy to spot as he’s usually buzzing around the puck. This game airs at 6pm Pacific.

Special note: Boston College will also be back on TV next weekend too.

Denver at Air Force

So you want a game with more than just one Kings prospect? Tune into the Altitude Network (DirecTV channel 681) Friday at 6pm Pacific. When Denver takes the ice, they could have three Kings prospects in their lineup. Returning after an impressive freshman season is forward James Reeder. Joining him on the Pioneers roster this season are a pair of the Kings 2025 NHL Draft selections, forwards Kristian Epperson and Brendan McMorrow — who both also recently attended USA Hockey’s World Junior evaluation camp. Denver is ranked No. 5 and looking to hold onto their spot as one of the country’s top collegiate programs.

Kelowna Rockets – Pair of WHL Games

We bring up Kelowna because LA’s has defenseman Will Sharpe (2025 NHL Draft) on the team and you can watch WHL games for free this season on Victory+. They’re set to take on Seattle Friday night, then Penticton Saturday. The great thing about junior hockey is you not only get to watch Kings prospects, but also a handful of other players who have either already been selected by other NHL teams or are eligible for next June’s Draft (and could even end up being selected by the Kings).

Bonus Info

While the OHL doesn’t stream games for free, you can watch their games using FloHockey. That’s the same subscription service that also airs AHL games, so it’s a pretty good value.
