From McKeen’s:

One of the top scoring options out of the USHL this year, Conmy is extremely dangerous from anywhere in the offensive zone thanks to his lethal wrist shot and one timer. Even though he’s on the smaller side and lacks high end speed, Conmy finds his way to the slot and net often. He eludes checks thanks to strong agility and edgework at the USHL level, but he will need to upgrade his quickness to be a scorer at the NCAA level with New Hampshire. Players like Conmy can be difficult to project, but his skill and upside are great for where most have him ranked (including us).

From Hockey Prospect:

He’s a volume shooter who takes a lot of long shots, even in situations that we’d expect something much different. For instance, on rush attempts where he has some degree of speed differential and space setup, we don’t get a deke – even to the outside – we just get a long wrist shot. Or even closely guarded zone entries where it might make sense to kick it out or push to the second wave of attack, too often we get a listless shot there too. Or a pass of questionable accuracy and zip. He doesn’t have much interior skill and his puckhandling is surprisingly disappointing for a player with this level of production.
