soooo.....is our best-case scenario to actually play the Oilers in the 1st round, get good rest by playing a half-ass game on Thursday and basically no travel for Game 1?

Nope changed my mind. Pretty sure we can beat the Duckies in 5, so not sure what needs to happen for that scenario, but it's what I'm hoping for.

Any idea when the playoffs start?
Kings have been on the road since Sunday and are away until at least Thursday night. Do they come home after the Calgary game, or go directly to site of opponent on Friday? That’s likely almost a week and a half road trip by the time Game 2. Not ideal.
Obvs depends on when Game 1 is and where. Hopeful they can return home for a night or two.

Set to start on Saturday from everything I've read.

E Conf has no games on Thursday, so maybe they'll go all E Conf on Saturday and then start W Conf on Sunday? Lakers have a game at 5:30 on Saturday, so if we're home team (unlikley) it will not be Saturday
