I'm not surprised, since he was our Public Enemy #1 during his time with Anaheim. It also didn't help that he won the Cup before the Kings did, so yeah, the fans had every right to boo him.

I'm a big believer that the fans can boo whenever they want, for whatever they want. The right to boo is included in the cost of admission.

I just can't subscribe to this. There are plenty of current NHL players, Perry included, who I simply don't want on the Kings and will never accept them. These players get paid enough money that I'm sure my hurty words and boos will bounce right off them, and I reserve the right to hurl boos and hurty words at them.

At this point of Perry's career, and at 40
years old, I don't believe any boos or whatever have any effect on him. He must be doing something right if people are booing him.
