On the video, he says "Kopitar is still ascending..." (as a player).

I don't know that that's the case. But then, what do you expect him to say as they try and raise the profile of the Kings on LA terrestrial radio?

Lame. Hope it’s just because Jesse is too busy to do Kings Talk because I liked his approach. He makes it pretty clear he’s a team employee when speaking on pods so he doesn’t give his entire opinion, but I thought he still brought a healthy level of honesty to the show.

EDIT: I just now read the other thread to see Jesse is no longer employed by the Kings. Sucks! But sounds like he is doing okay with it.

I'm not dead... what's with all the past tense?

I suspect my time at Kings Talk is over. I am no longer employed by the LA Kings. I will continue doing All The Kings Men and will be covering the team independently which will likely involve some kind of live postgame coverage. More news to come as I figure the details out.
