With the status of forwards Anze Kopitar and Joel Armia in question following injuries during Monday night’s victory against Minnesota, the LA Kings have recalled Andre Lee and Taylor Ward from AHL Ontario.
ROSTER MOVE
LA Kings are recalling forward Taylor Ward from AHL Ontario. He has 21 points (12F, 9A) in 32 GP.
He was recalled at the end of last season and scored in his NHL debut.

Ward, an undrafted winger, has one game of NHL experience, coming in last year’s regular season finale. Now 27 years old, Ward has produced 21 points in 32 games with the Reign this season — his fourth full campaign with the club, after four years of college hockey at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Lee, a 6-foot-5 native of Sweden, leads the Reign in goals (15) and points (27) this season. Originally selected by the Kings at the 2019 Draft, he made his NHL debut early last season and ultimately suited up in 19 games for coach Jim Hiller. With Ontario, he’s been on quite a tear lately, amassing seven goals in his past eight games played.
A further update on the status of Kopitar (lower body) and Armia (upper body) is expected following the Kings morning skate in a few hours. LA will be preparing to host the visiting San Jose Sharks later tonight at Crypto.com Arena.
