I should have mentioned that Kuemper save. I was already lifting up the remote to turn the game off as they were shooting that and I couldn't believe he saved it. Got me to watch to the end with that one.

I may be in the minority, but I think Clarke plays a very weak game, both with and without the puck. It may be another 2 or 3 years before he plays like a man.

He has this bag of tricks that worked to get under the skin of guys who were his same age in jrs, and he's still using them and he doesn't have the physical strength to defend himself against these guys yet. If he needs that stuff to keep in the groove of understanding more of the NHL game, fine, but it sure seems like wasted effort at the moment. Just like everyone else he'll grow out of it eventually.

Lewis finally sat for a while, and I suspect he will again when Turcotte returns. But alas, I don’t think two miracle decisions re: old vets are coming this season. But next year after Lewis is retired I think we might actually see QB replace Kopi on the first unit for at least the opening two games.

I do worry about this final stretch of the year. Thursday could very well be a trap game vs the Ducks and the Kings don't exactly play well against the Avs. Then 2 on the road. I really don't want them to finish the season on a down note, especially don't want the Oils to leapfrog them.
