He has this bag of tricks that worked to get under the skin of guys who were his same age in jrs, and he's still using them and he doesn't have the physical strength to defend himself against these guys yet. If he needs that stuff to keep in the groove of understanding more of the NHL game, fine, but it sure seems like wasted effort at the moment. Just like everyone else he'll grow out of it eventually.I may be in the minority, but I think Clarke plays a very weak game, both with and without the puck. It may be another 2 or 3 years before he plays like a man.
Probably because McDiddlySquat and Divesaitl have been out. I was quite surprised not many Oiler fans at the Kings game either. The Pond with half-empty seats. Not that surprising. What's surprising is that why there aren't any more Coilers fans filling those seats since they're a well-traveled fanbase.
That definitely would of been me had the Kings lost on Saturday. You are a true diehard. If I had driven all the way down there for that pitiful performance, I'd be grumpy as this guy:

The "Power Play" is going to sink this team against the Oil unless it miraculously improves in the next two weeks. I'm not holding my breath.Every team throws in a clunker. I am sure you can do through every team and find a bad home loss. The concerning part for me is the power play. It has been sh*t all year, yet they keep putting the same guys out there. Its so damn frustrating. Kopitar at the top on the 5 on 3?!?! Its time to move on from Kopitar on the power play all together. It's not working.
I have convinced myself that they are just sucking on the PP now as a ruse, only to reveal their "Secret PP Plan" against the Oilers! Or perhaps I spend too much time watching super-hero cartoons. The "Power Play" is going to sink this team against the Oil unless it miraculously improves in the next two weeks. The Kings are a good team with a horrible PP. Kopitar and Donut need to be retired from the PP (and OT as well). Coach needs to grow a pair and leave them on the pine when special teams are needed. The concerning part for me is the power play. They need to place Byfield on PP1 full time going forward. It's time to pass the torch. The Kings are a good team with a horrible PP. Kopitar and Donut need to be retired from the PP (and OT as well). Coach needs to grow a pair and leave them on the pine when special teams are needed.
Lewis finally sat for a while, and I suspect he will again when Turcotte returns. But alas, I don’t think two miracle decisions re: old vets are coming this season. But next year after Lewis is retired I think we might actually see QB replace Kopi on the first unit for at least the opening two games. They need to place Byfield on PP1 full time going forward. It's time to pass the torch.
