SI/Hockey News - The Most Interesting Team of the 2021 NHL Off-Season? The LA Kings

My hunch is Blake will hold off on doing anything until the expansion draft is over and then he'll make one more move.

At least one. I still think he picks up a LD, could go all in on Jones and get another winger.

unless there's a move you absolutely have to make now before someone else swoops in, there's no reason to make trades now. Most teams are settling in on who to protect and who they can lose. Adding/swapping players to the roster can wind up costing you a lot more than the assets required to make the trade. But I wouldn't be surprised if Blake makes more than one move after the expansion draft.

yeah that's a tough one. he'd bring some offense, but overall his game seems to be toast at this point. He'd likely wind up benched and we'd be dealing with the drama of his ironman streak. But I guess if Blake cant find the guy he's looking for this could maybe buy him another year of trying to find that unicorn we need.

I dunno, i think id probably pass.

Anyone care to do a looks see at which divisions have been "terrible" over the last five years and see if there was any rebuilding team that accelerated because of it?
