Thomas, Lee Waived

This suggests the Kings are going with 13 forwards and 8 d-men. Helenius and Malott presumably have made the roster, as have Moverare and Burroughs. One will have to go when Perry returns.

I suspected Lee and Thomas would be the odd men out, but after reviewing the roster list, I can’t see why the Kings are keeping both Burroughs and Moverare on the NHL roster. Highly unlikely either of those two are claimed if waived, and to be honest, there are probably 2 or 3 other defenders recently waived by other teams, that I would rather see waiting in the wings as a seventh or eighth defender on our NHL roster.

Some past Kings on the waiver wire.

Englund was also waived by the Preds

I remember the days when Akil + a draft pick or 2 could have gotten us a solid player.

I recall a player that came up and got a couple of quick points, right place at the right time. Otherwise, a player that did not really impact the game much. He has continued to show that he does not impact the game much.

So, actually, no. I do not recall that.
