Afte jumping out to a 4-0 lead, the Kings came from ahead to lose to the Sharks on Saturday afternoon at the Golden State Rookie Faceoff in Irvine.
Unlike recent years, where the LA roster included a bevy of camp invites, new Reign coach Andrew Lord had a full complement of Kings prospects at his disposal for this year’s annual showcase of young talent.

It was forward Koehn Ziemmer and defenseman Kirill Kirsanov who provide the early offense for Lord’s squad — two players he’ll be coaching this season in AHL Ontario.
