Welp—I guess we’re all Carolina fans now

It's going to be interesting to see if the extra time off hurts VGK as much as it hurt Colorado.

I hope Carolina's goalie is up to the task and if all else fails, just run the goalies and play 6 on 6 open net!

I'd just like a good series. Honestly that's all I ever want once the Kings are eliminated; I generally don't have a huge preference for who wins. The only current exception is Edmonton, who can flame out and burn for all I care.

I'd prefer the Canes, but only because I dislike the Vegas mentality of winning over ethics.

So far it’s looking like Mitch wasn’t actually part of the problem in TO. It’s been amusing to watch Leafs fans slowly come round to that realization, but ultimately, with him taking up residence on a local rival, it turns out the joke's really on us. It’s basically ‘Jack Eichel: part 2’.

Mitch and Matthews both seem to constantly get, or got, the blame from TO fans but both have proven, elsewhere, that they are not the problem. Toronto's problem has been their glass cannon approach which falls apart in the playoffs.

There were a few of us on here strongly advocating that the Kings should do everything they can to pick up Mitch, back before Vegas signed him. Doubt the Kings ever actually had a shot, but what a difference he would have made on our team.

If Vegas wins.

Just because so many people are so salty about so many VGK subjects, I'm all for them winning. VGK management is a masterclass on how to run a team. Sometimes the bad guys have to win because good is stupid.
