When are the exit interviews?

I actually do want to hear what Blake & Hiller have to say in these interviews. But I'd love for them to answer specific questions. I'd ask Hiller what specifically did he see on the goalie interference that made him want to challenge. And by what percentage did he think the league would overturn the goal. Because I didn't see anything that was 100% goalie interference. The other question I'd ask Hiller is if he trusts his bottom guys. And I'd ask Blake if Hiller didn't trust those guys enough to play them, wasn't it his job to get guys that he could trust to play more than 2 minutes a game?

Will any media member hold the coaching and management team's feet to the fire? Not putting up with the standard answer and pushing them for more? Or are they too afraid to get the Rosen treatment and loose good favor with the team for being too critical? If only Helene was still in a media role.

for what it's worth, he was asked. He essentially said, "we saw things we thought were interference during the sequence, but it's over now and what i saw doesn't matter".

There were some things that happened prior to the kick and the subsequent stick tap that i think he's alluding to. Kane was in the crease pushing the goalie and id assume that's what he felt like was where the interference would come from.

I mentioned in another thread that the outcome of the challenge was almost irrelevant to me. Certainly you want to get that call correct. But it's just such a risky call to make at that specific point in the game. I understand his reasoning, but i think, again, it's just maybe too risky to try even if you think youre correct. But like he said... doesnt really matter now.

Watch live at 2:00 pm PT as LA Kings President Luc Robitaille addresses the media following the 2024-25 season.

In Hiller’s exit interview he mentioned something happening before the play around the net. He wouldn’t explain what he was referring to but I’ve watched the replay of the entire sequence several times looking for anything before the puck enters the crease and I’m stumped. I have no clue what he could be alluding to.

Especially something like goalie interference. It’s so subjective, it’s basically what the refs or Toronto feels like at that time. And for that you’re going to risk giving the Oilers a power play. Of course they could’ve killed it & it would not be a story. But they didn’t & it was.

I haven’t seen Luc’s interview yet. But I saw Hiller’s. That was pretty much some things happened & we lost & what can you do. There was no accountability or self reflection whatsoever. I get that coaches believe in themselves & their decisions. But does he think he made all the right decisions? And if so, would he make them again if those scenarios came up again? If so, we’re screwed because that’s insanity.

Kevin Baxter (LA TIMES) asked Luc essentially the same question about self-reflection, and accountability for Luc regarding how the Kings have not won a series (since like forever) and Luc sorta brushed off the question.

Just like last season, the FO feels pretty comfortable, no urgency, no fear, no accountability.
Rob was fired because they could not justify firing yet another coach under Rob's tenure.
Rob took the fall. It was deserved for years of bad management, but from he FO perspective, they had to do something, and Rob was the guy.

Luc needs to be removed as well. They need to gut the place.
It's a not a winning culture in the FO
