I agree. Looked as though they took their opponent too lightly and they didn't expect such a physical game from Vietnam. Hope it was a wake-up call.

If this is the best lineup the USA can field vs. Netherlands, then dreams of a 3-peat seem to be vanishing. They have been totally outplayed in the first half. One can only hope the subs in the second half can turn this mess around.

Horan needs to get angry at the beginning of the game. 1st half we were outplayed. Netherlands so good with 1 touch quick passes and flooding midfield. US seemed to just kick forward and hope it goes somewhere.
Much better flow in the 2nd, and actual pressure forward with intent. Might be crazy but Rodman seemed to give away the ball too many times and bad first touches. Lavelle was absolutely the sub needed. I still have faith.
