must. find.

my go-to mart had some in the shelves the other day. I've had those at the beerfests over the last couple of years, and knowing that I'm able to grab a pack is exhilarating.

Patsy is my wifes #1 right now. You can find it at any Total Wine. My local liquor store always has it as well.

Do yourself a favor, visit the brewery and have this on Nitro. You can thank me later.

I'm not so sure how I feel about all this fruit coming into beer... bananas, coconut, and blueberries? That sounds like a fruit salad not a beer. I can understand that a summer wheat beer may have a bit of orange rind in it to give it a slight citrus note, but I saw a beer with watermelon in it the other day. WTH? I didn't try it, and I don't think I will.

What's the draw to try a fruit beer? I get the lambics and ciders, but fruit in beer just seems weird. For the record I only add citrus to pale Mexican beer, because that's what the manufacturer indicates is needed for it.

21st Amendment Brewing has been making a Watermelon Wheat Beer for many years. I first had it at a brewfest in Portland more than 10 years ago. Not my favorite style, but had to admit on a hot day, drinking a lot of heavier beers, it was refreshing. I think the trend, is just because brewers are running out of new ideas. There is a high demand for new beer, and with so many microbrewers in business, we're seeing more of these experiments coming to market.

When I see all these fruit flavored beers (and beers with Brett for that matter) I'm happy because they don't really interest me and it saves me money.

My buddy brought a 4-pack of this over a couple weeks ago. I'd seen it many times but always passed it assuming it was some mediocre lager. I was wrong. It's a solid British style pub ale that one could stay on all day long. Good stuff.

my go-to mart just informed me that they're getting the beers from KRBC on a weekly basis. in the last few weeks the number of bottles increased to the point that I no longer will need to drive 3 hours to the brewery for some of their hard to get brews.

just kidding, I'll still do the trips all cuz they don't deliver their food. nor the scenery nor the river.

if you see this beer, don't pass on a chance. it's my favorite Red.

Funny you mention this beer. I had few on tap at a bar on Saturday.

I've been seeing lots more KRBC bottles around lately which is excellent. Haven't seen any Class V, pumpkin, or winter ale yet. Haven't bought ant since I'm already knee deep in older bottles of beer in my stash.
