-After Crosby Kopitar was the best player in that draft. Adding Kopitar to the 2010-era Canucks would have meant a cup in Vancouver.
-Let's hope he doesn't get pancaked, Q-tip the Great Gazoo is lucky that he has Högs and Garland to protect him.
-This is a good litmus test for them team. Win and the Canucks will have the confidence that they are a legit contender. Lose and they are just another playoff team.
—That’s putting too much stock into the results of the game, but the process is very important. They need to be patient against LA, if we see too many odd-man rushes against from trying to force the puck, it won’t be a good sign.
-Earlier start at least should mean i stay awake until end, though hopefully we bust the trap early.
-Canucks are going to be in tough against the Kings. So happy that this team has the size and tenacity to impose their will on the Kings.

-Biggest disappointment iof the night is Podz follow through on Doughty wasn't harder.
-I was at the game. lol. They didn’t test talbot at all and LA was stick checking like crazy. We were just a bit off and slow to pucks.
-Both LA amd VGK are heavy physical teams both are playoffs type teams.. I'd much rather play NSH... not a doubt..
-I do not like our odds against the Kings in the playoffs. The only team that scares me.
-Nice to hear both QH and Miller answer the question of what was different in the last couple minutes with "LA had already packed it in". Good they didn't say they lost the game on bad bounces, and recognized they lost to a good team that plays a structure that is hard to breakdown.
-This game was not a good sign for playoff style hockey. Kopitar is clearly better than Pettersson, especially in games that count more. Is Pettersson an 11.6 million dollar, franchise player? Or is he a highly overpaid 2nd line forward? I say forward because he is not an effective centerman against bigger teams.
-Anyone else notice on the 3rd goal, the ref rushed to crease and got in the way of the clearing - allowing the LA stick to get the bounce?
