***Anaheim Ducks vs. LA Kings GDT 2/24/24 7:30pm on BSW***

Sorry I don't have any confidence in this team. Stanley Cup winners have four lines that buzz every shift and a goalie that makes the impossible, possible. Prove me wrong.

No way this Kings team wins the Cup this year. I'd be happy just getting out of the first round.

It's easy to wager against winning the Stanley cup, if the casinos would give odds on it, id take that bet every year.

Ok which team is that this season? Bruins? Rangers? The Kings have beaten them both. Edmonton? Vegas? Kings have wins against both.

My favorite to win this year is Florida. Bruins, Rangers and Canes have a good shot too. Unless Colorado gets real hot, I don't think a Western team will win it this year. But I haven't seem much of Vancouver this year so I am looking forward to the upcoming game.

Canes are looking really strong this season and Rod still seems to have a great grasp of how much rein to let loose. Goaltending has been an issue for them, but if they can stay healthy they should make another strong run. (and this Spencer Martin goalie kid is doing great for them)

LOL....just saw this tweet after I typed the above paragraph. "Casual Rod" looking a little stressed out there...

I don't know who is gonna win but I do know it wont be the Kings. Please sell don't buy at the trade deadline. One player isn't gonna change the makeup of this team.

I agree. The path to the cup is wide open. In my estimation there is a path for this Kings team too.

Kings have to work harder and play with more intensity. Something completely absent in the Nashville game and for part of the Anaheim game. I would think Moore gets going again at some point. We need his offense.

Exactly. Buying anything is just wasting assets.

If the Kings don't make it, I'm looking forward to a Bruins -Nucks rematch with the Bruins winning game 7 in Van ...and the citizens of Vancouver completely lose their sh*t and burn their beautiful city to the ground. (actually any of the teams VCRW names are a good bet... Just please God, not the Oil...).

I finally watched a Vancouver game and it was that Boston one and I was completely flummoxed that Vancouver pulled it out. I don't get how they are winning games like that.

I’m firmly in the camp of a win is a win. Yes it wasn’t pretty. But we got 2 points. And I don’t think this game is any indication of what’s going to happen these next 3 games. But we’ll see. I hope soon that Danault & Moore start producing. Neither of them have scored in forever. Maybe that shootout goal gives Moore some confidence. And please give some confidence to Kaliyev. He desperately needs to get a goal any way he can.

I am a Dolphin with vision. Not only are the Kings winning the Cup this year, they are winning it next year too. :mhihi: :harhar1: 😏

I find it odd we haven't played Vancouver as a division team yet and have to do so 4 times still.

Yep, lots of parity. May come down to the team that has it firing on all cylinders come playoff time but then again, anything can happen in the playoffs.
