I wouldn't say crushed, the game just looks more lopsided than it was due to two empty net goals. Ducks did, however, get something the Kings did not during their game against the Canes - solid goaltending.

Our goaltending will improve and once it does the Kings will be a tough team to beat.

The Ducks were making the Canes look bad early.. going up 3-0 I believe in the first period. Empty netters stretched the end result out, but your assertion is correct in that, the Ducks got pretty solid goaltending from Dostal, and the Kings did not get great goaltending.
