Local Rinks

Anyone in OC skate at Lake Forest or Aliso Viejo Ice Palace? Never heard of either of these places before last night, but looking around looks like they have a decent schedule for hockey, including leagues. I had planned on going through the Anaheim Rinks leagues but this may be another option depending on how that works out.

My buddy does the Lake Forest pick-ups, says they are a great skate and fill up very quickly! No clue about how competent their leagues are though.

A few that havent been mentioned.
LA Kings at PV Ice-a cool little rink in the Peninsula mall.

Roller:
Margarita Community Park in Temecula has a nice outdoor roller hockey rink that is free and open for public use. There is a regular Sunday pick up there as well-check out their Facebook group for info.

There was one at Reagan park in Temecula as well, but I think that may be undergoing remodeling.

There's also a free outdoor roller rink at a park in Orange. Its a smaller rink but solid.

Skating Edge in Bay Harbor is alive and well, they did a minor makeover mostly re-did the ice and removed the boards of death.

I skated at the Santa Clarita Rick, The Cube The Cube Ice and Entertainment Center

NHL rink, Intl rink and a small 1/2 rink. Decent locker rooms and showers. I like it.
