This is really looking like a personnel issue for the Kings. Their special teams are so predictable and the staff not doing anything to fix these problems lay on their feet for this reason.

I think their defense is still pretty terrible, but the Kings aren't good enough to put any pressure on their defense. And Skinner sucks, but the Kings can't disrupt him or get any traffic for the few shots they do get. Oilers will get exposed in the next round, but the Kings are a total fraud.

The Oilers just beat a team 9-0 a few weeks back. A team the Kings struggled to defeat.

At least we can look forward to the 2nd period, a period that is the Kings worse period.

That’s the Hiller approach to offense. Believe it or not the Kings offense under TM had more puck possession, more rush chances and created more opportunities in high danger areas.
