***Vancouver Canucks vs. Los Angeles Kings GDT 4/6/24 >>7:00pm<< on BALLY SPORTS SOCAL***

The game is finally over. Suck it, Vancouver, as well as you refs for your inconsistent officiating. Thank you, Juice, for that game-winning SHG to put this game out of reach for Vancouver.

The last remaining games for the Kings are all against non-playoff teams but LA can't afford to play down to their competition, so keep all those cylinders fired up.

Billy Idol was LA's charm tonight for the win.

This was supposed to the toughest game left on the schedule. The Kings have a shot at winning out. Talk about going into the Playoffs hot.
No reason they shouldn’t win out if they don’t play down to their opponents. Just keep it going. Cant help but feeling they are getting in a groove with everyone heathy again

Akil with over 11 minutes. No way that happens unless Hiller really likes what he sees. So long Arty.
Yep. the 4th line has been great these last few games. They need to keep it going.

Do you like what you see? I do. Akil has been solid, no mistakes, he makes the right plays. It is only a few games, but he has not really done anything stupid like Kaliyev and Grundstrom are known to do.

Not Talbot's greatest game - although the SOG total is much higher than I would have guessed from being at the game & directly behind Talbot for 2 periods. He completely lost the puck a couple of times in the 3rd, though - Matt Roy bailed him out one of the times. 2 of the 3 goals nothing he could have done - bang-bang plays in tight by the Nucks. They are good around the net, that's for sure.

Great job of keeping Hughes completely inconsequential in this game by our boys.

Kings were really looking to make a statement tonight....came out fired up and never let off the gas.

Still completely baffled at why the Nucks did not pull the goalie when they had the PP at the end there.

Nucks D men are giants. Except Hughes, of course.

5 more GDTs to go......(I'll still do them for playoffs, but no questions so it's much, much easier)

Was on radio for this one and it sounded pretty wild and loose. Hopefully the kings stay in the Canucks heads should they meet in the playoffs. Nobody better get cute with these final five games, youre gonna have to beat a good team in the playoffs, work on playing well (unlike that 2 man advantage)

Greetings from Japan! Did QB play? Is he going to make the score sheet again before the season ends?

Watching on PVR. He took a heck of a hit from Zadorov in the 2nd period which looked like it shook him up. He came back, but at this time of year, one never knows what players are playing through.

Enjoy Japan

Also took a slash to the helmet on that hit. And a nasty stick to the face recently.

This is why I’m hoping the 11/7 does not make an appearance in the playoffs. Rolling 3 lines is not sustainable if your goal is to get out of the 1 round. The Kings need a 4th line to take the burden off the heavy minutes eaters. And when the 4th is working they’re actually pretty dangerous. Think back to the first 3 months of the season. Multiple games were won on the backs of that 4th line.
