GDT 1:00pm FRIDAY!! ***LA Kings @ Anaheim Ducks GDT 11/28/25 1:00pm on FanDuel***

I know we like to blame individual players for losses, however, the whole team needs to be better. It's not just one play, they all add up. The Ducks out-hustled the Kings. They out-skated Kings players to the puck. They stripped the pucks from behind and that takes a lot of effort. The Ducks wanted it more they are hungry, and they don't quit when behind. This is why they are going to be in a position to take one of the playoff spots from a team that has been there the last few years.

I give up. There is no killer instinct among the players and coaches. Ahead 4-2 in the other guys building means you still keep attacking…

And 22–55-9 is not a good line. It turns Kempe into F3 keeping him high in the zone while the other 2 guys are puck chasing. Not an optimal situation.
Anyone-55-Anyone is not a good line. It's like QB has 3 good shifts per game in him, then the rest of the time he's oblivious to what is going on in the game

Seems that QB had more impact on games when he was a winger.

Yes, QB is quick and the fastest skater on the team. It looks impressive when he goes out speeding around, but most of the time nothing comes of it. I feel that often times he would do better if he slowed the game down a bit.

Still young and I hope he keeps improving.

So everything now is just pure bonus hockey if you've given up.

Enjoy every moment from now on! It's all free.

Congratulations to Birdman for being the only poster to guess the GWG goal would be scored in the ShootOut AND for getting 2 points for also guessing Terry as GWG

And Congrats to the rest of these posters who get 1 point for guessing that Terry would score the GWG

It's become self-evident that QB's body moves faster than his brain. He's like an automobile careening down Angeles Crest Highway without any brakes. Hopefully his brain will catch up at some point, but right now it's like hold your breath and hope you don't go off the cliff.

I haven't been following these threads, so I'm likely just saying what's already been said, but Fiala? Wonderful skills . . . and the brain of a turnip.

Not ready to declare “I quite” yet. But my expectation level is very low and will continue to be so until Hiller is removed. The coaching is the subject on which I have given up. The team does not have enough talent to overcome Hiller’s poor decision making.

Nothing to be ashamed about. The Kings just took the best team in the Pacific to a shootout on their home ice.
While this may be true, the way I see it.......... The Ducks are the young inexperienced team. They were supposed to make the mistakes and the Kings should have won that game up two goals in the 3rd. It turned out much different, and in the big picture that is somewhat embarrassing for this franchise.

Without considering personnel/line combos:

Byfield scored >50 points in his 4th season and has been consistently scoring >50 points since.

It took Kempe until his 6th season to score >50 points and has been consistently scoring >50 points since.

I think Byfield’s ceiling could be higher, but that’s a big fat ‘could’. Time will tell.
