I wonder if the Kings are pacing themselves. Problem is they actually have to win some games to make the playoffs. Otherwise they can pace themselves in Spring/Summer

This is the first game in weeks where the opposition goalie hasn’t played like Patty Roy in his prime against the Kings.

To be honest tho'... a lot of the lack of scoring has had to to with fumbling away opportunities, bad shooting or desperation low probability chances as much as the stellar play of the goalies. But they have been making goalies "look" like Roy, for sure.

Kings are 9th in high danger chances for over the last 30 days. Kings are getting plenty of good looks they just aren’t converting. Definitely some combo of poor shooting and great goaltending.
