Happy, happy, happy 4/20, guys. I know Super Troopers is out today but just can't, too much of a loner stoner. My buddies flew up to SF to smoke on Haight-Ashbury. lol. fools. Nor-cal sucks.

Thinking of doing an all musical (or music themed) binge. Sound of Music, Whiplash, Almost Famous that one were Frank Sinatra wears his navy whites and dances. There is something very Confederacy of Dunces about this theme that I am loving.

Open to any suggestions, cutting out of the office early, no reason.

As an aside: How far would I have to run on Saturday to work off an entire tray of baklava? Asking for a friend.

Don't be a loner stoner. GO SEE SUPER TROOPERS 2. IN A theater. this weekend.

I'm a mood swing stoner...

current mood...

Beach Bum. Made by stoners for stoners.

If you don't smoke, or have never smoked, don't bother. This movie is non-linear, slow and a (non-funny) ridiculous premise glorifying the naciscic substance abuser but I really liked it. Aging successful poet (see also: Bukowski or HST) slums/parties in the Florida keys, writes when he's not drinking, ******* or hanging with his wealth or indigent friends. He's a happy drunk and friendly guy so no bad vibes; someone forces his hand, now he has to finish that book.

Visually interesting and Mcconaughey being Mcconaughey dialed up to 11 (which for some can be insufferable). Can I recommended it? It depends who you are... on Hulu. :irie:

ladies and gents, the patron saint of 4/20 movies...

Nodding to Cage’s blockbuster films such as Gone in 60 Seconds, Unbearable Weight will follow "Cage" who has reached rock-bottom. Fervently trying to land a role in the latest Quentin Tarantino film, reconnect with his teenage daughter, and also overcome horrendous debt, in the film Cage will have internal conversations with a ‘90s movie star version of himself. "Cage" agrees to meet with a billionaire from Mexico who wants to cast him in a project, but chaos ensues when he learns the billionaire is a drug kingpin and is then recruited by the CIA to bring the dealer down.
