Happy Thanksgiving for all of you, glad we get to celebrate with the second Kings home win of the season. Who would have thunk it would come on a PPG from a defenseman playing the point no less? Thankful that Darcy was just uncomfortable because he's been stalwart and clearly the team MVP.

I think FO% is a very underrated metric. Obviously the simple analysis is you can't score without the puck. Then you see it how it helps you control line changes, matchups...especially in overtime. Incredibly valuable on the PP/PK...I'd like to see a more advanced analytical breakdown of their importance...I'm sure someone has written a piece...
Anyway, QB is really dragging everyone down at 40% that has to be league bottom for a high volume taker.
That's the Hiller mindset and it's exactly what will kill us in the playoffs again.

it was interesting to hear the fans (incluing me!) booing the PP....Monday night 6pm game vs non-conference opponent meant most of the arena was serious Kings fans who know what's up. I don't think that would have happened on a Saturday night game with a bunch of out-of-town & random casual fans. Sent a good message to the team, I think!
He did have one GREAT faceoff win in the D zone towards the end of the game. Other than that....Mr. Invisible

Thoughts .... Never saw Sutter jumping around like a player. That was just 3 seconds. He's known to be an emotionally invested but composed coach.
