All Things:AMC television

I'm so beyond annoyed right now. Way to ruin all of that beautiful, beautiful tension. They built it and built it and built it and instead of ending with a huge moment (like killing a major character,) it ended with a *fart noise.* They didn't need a damn cliffhanger to get me to tune in next season.

I can't help but feel like they're going to kill off someone not major like Eugene or Aaron. Instead of doing it in the finale where the audience may have been pissed that the big moment advertised was underwhelming, I bet the cliffhanger was the huge moment they've been talking about...not the character death.

AND THE CAST DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHO DIES YET. How messed up is that? They all have to do press and SDCC and **** and whoever dies doesn't even know they're going to be out of a job soon. Just....ugh. To all of it.

I'm with mmmcammy. I seriously don't even care who it was.

The commercials are ridiculous.. I'm at that point where I just don't care who dies or what happens in the end.

^^^^what mmmcammy said. This will drive more people away than the small bump in ratings that stupid stunt will garner in next seasons opener. What a cop out by the show. Screw them.

Switched off Talking Dead... couldn't stand an hour of 'our show is great' after that finale.

Oh and only good part was Morgan and Carol meeting someone from the set of Rollerball. Too many commercials and RVing, plus unbelievable roadblocks.

Yeah, that was some bull****. All that foreplay just to leave us hanging.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan, though... Damn. Nice job.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan ****ing killed it (no pun intended.) Fantastic casting and an AMAZING, riveting scene that was totally ruined.

I think I'm more annoyed today than I was yesterday. I don't even feel like speculating who died anymore based on the clues they gave us. I just don't care.
This isn't even good storytelling anymore...they're just ****ing with us because they can and calling it "keeping us on our toes." And how the **** are they supposed to release any trailers for next season? Will trailers just feature Negan, Carol, Morgan and the Kingdom dudes? AND THE COMMERCIALS. OH MY GOD. 90 minute show and it felt like half of it was commercials.

I'm glad the showrunners are getting major backlash for this. What a slap in the face to fans.

^agreed. we were timing the show to commercial ratio....many times it was 4-5 minutes of show, and then 4-5 minutes of commercials. FFFFFFUUUUUU AMC!

Warning: This post is by someone who is really pissed off.

Same here. So much smug. The one guy went off about how we would be rooting for Negan if he had been the one to wake up in the hospital at the beginning. Guess what, buddy? I'm rooting for Negan now. Let him kill them all. They ruined Carol, the best character they had, to the point that I wanted that guy to shoot her in the face. Put her out of her misery and move on to ruining the next character. Rick is now a sniveling coward, was likely one all along, and I was really hoping he would be the one to meet Lucille. Really hoping. Maximum impact would have been Maggie, chosen by Negan because she was obviously important if all of those people were trying to get her help. But no, they wimped out with, "I can't decide." Well, I had no trouble deciding that I just don't care. They have officially pushed me too far.

The backlash is awesome because they really deserve it, but they're probably patting themselves on the back for all of the attention. It's at the expense of the fans, but I don't think they care. They seem to have no respect for the viewers. For now I plan to hate watch the rest of the series because I can't stand to give up after all of this time, and I love JDM. However, I don't trust them to ever give us a decent finale to all of this. I thank God Almighty that I bailed early on FTWD. That decision may have preserved my sanity (for now).

There are a few stories using Gimple's quote about the cliffhanger last night being like LOST when they opened the hatch. Uh, no Scott. Definitely, not.

I caught that too. Lost pissed me off many times as well.

Doesn't it seem like now it can't be one of the main folk (Rick, Carol, Maggie, Glen, Daryl) who got Lucille as after so much time gone by the impact will have been lost? If it was going to be one of them, it would've been more impactful to just have it done and let us mourn for the next 6 months.

so, am I the only person that thinks that Saul flat out sucks?

can it go any sloooooower?

I'm getting there man. First few episodes of season one i struggled with not comparing it to BB, then once I accepted it wasn't the same, I appreciated it. Come season two, my acceptance is still there, but it is slowing going away. I watched the first 3 episodes of it, maybe 4? Things heated up for a second (the Mike/Tuco situation), but then simmered back down. I get that it is a different pace, but throw us a few more bones. Plus, we don't have DVR, so when the Kings play on Monday nights, they take priority over BCS.

I agree. Main reason I think it's Eugene. The fact the his character kinda finished his arch going from coward to hero. The way he gave rick all the instructions to make bullets, which was the only use for him since Abraham knows the location now. I think if it was one of the main guys, they wouldn't have done it this way.

Suddenly, I feel like I'm watching TWD the right way by stopping after the superb first season.

I should've thought of this last week, but would AMC even allow them to show anything more than an implied "Lucille-ing"? Yeah, they've showed various head shots, arrows, knives, etc. (to living and zombies), but nothing that gruesome.

There was a head crush on Agents of Shield this week, but they only showed a second of it.

Caught the first half of FearTWD last night... the boat can travel 3000 miles. Is that something... normal?
