All Things:AMC television

walt watches the junkie OD in bed next to jesse, if you've watched it, you know what i'm talking about. WOW, i didn't think walt became evil as s*** until last season, with the poisoning of jesse's new girl's kid (ricin vs. toxic berry), but holy crap, he's been an egotistical piece of s*** ass**** since day one. it's great television though and really interesting to see the moral conflicts him and everyone else all go through.

Just watched this last night - Walt really didn't have any choice, he had to let her go. What would he gain by trying to save her? She had turned Jesse against him. I'm curious what Jesse does with his $$ (guess 'll find out today or tomorrow).

This show is addictive!

it sure is. i'm rewatching the episodes where i joined in now (and i never do that). almost at the end of season 3 now.

and ya, i agree with you even though i feel bad for jesse. it's not just that he turned against walt, he was becoming a serious junkie and splitting them up was the only way to get him better. i'm assuming since she barfed and died because she'd been turned on her back that she would've barfed anyway (and survived if she'd been left on her side). she just would've ended up barfing into the back of jesse's head. whattalife.

I'm just about done with season 3. Last night I watched the show about the fly in the lab, and it was the first time that the show just mailed it in. It was like those episodes of Gilligan's Island or Hogan's Heroes where only a few cast members are in the show, the rest are out of town (i.e. not written into the script, giving them days off, etc.). Yes, I just compared BB with Gilligan's Island or Hogan's Heroes.

After about 15 - 20 minutes of Walt and Jesse being in the lab I thought about fast-forwarding 20 minutes to get to the "real show," but I thought "something will happen that I need to see," so I watched the whole damn show, and basically nothing happened.

Oh well, they can't have a shootout in the hardware store parking lot every week.

haha, ya, the fly episode is my least favorite. we started watching BB the episode before that when it was on its first airing and he said that if we'd started at the fly, he wouldn't have bothered with the rest of the series. when it came time to rewatch that part of season 3, i just had it on in the background and did other things. you're right about the shootouts and stuff though. can't wait for sunday!

I'm really missing my AMC. Was going to switch, but it seems Direct is having issues with other networks we watch. I miss my Saturday morning westerns the most.

The Breaking Bad panel @ SDCC was magic. And the Walking Dead footage gave me great hope for the new season. The Guv looks like a totally different take and he should be very serious.

Man...whats wrong with you guys? Don't like the fly episode. Whats a matter? Quiet character driven moments not exciting enough? Shame on you.
