All Things:AMC television

HAHA! I love it. What a bunch of whiners!

I agree with Norman ... "f... 'em!" I wasn't a huge fan of all the time on the farm but I thought it did a nice job of building the anxiety and led to an amped up ending of the season. I enjoyed it. I am very interested to see where it all goes this season with them finally getting to the prison and how the Governor is going to influence everything. I think it should be fun. I am also very interested in seeing who gets whacked. I know what happens in the comic and am looking forward to them losing some more of the main characters.

The one thing thing I really disagree with is Jesse's fate. Jesse needs to die. He's been dancing with the devil for too long to just walk away. Jesse can't live happily ever after. He was warned by Mike about continuing his association with Walter, and if that wasn't foreshadowing, I don't know what is. Walter either needs to kill Jesse himself or callously put him at risk. That's the only logical conclusion. Anything less would be a cop out.

In all honesty, and I know this won't happen on an American TV show, but this whole saga should have a very dark ending. It should end badly for everyone who came into contact with Walter. Skyler, Hank, Marie, Walter Jr. Even Holly. Let Walter witness it all go up in flames, maybe even literal flames, and be unable to do anything about it. The show is a tragedy. In a tragedy, bad things happen to people who don't deserve bad things to happen to them. Just Walter getting his just desserts and everyone else walking away whistling a happy tune would be a happy ending. This is NOT a show that should have a happy ending.

I don't think we are looking at a happy ending here. I don't know if it's gonna be all Apocalypse Now like you are looking for, c'mon...part of the tragedy are the survivors left to wonder...what could I have done???? But yeah. This has to end in darkness for most involved. And there's no saying that Jesse can't have his moment of revelation/revenge and still come to a bad end. I just don't think a scorched earth policy applies here. Besides, when do the truly guilty ALWAYS get their just rewards. Pick up a newspaper. Even Sandusky is allowed to continue breathing.

Well, in my ending, Walt would be the only one who would walk away - but with the knowledge that he took down everyone he loved, or used to love.

Breaking Bad season 5 reruns start tonight. Since I'm a late-comer to the series they will be new to me, just finished seasons 1-4 on netflix a couple weeks ago
