Sweet...I haven't seen a BC Rich Warlock in a while.

In other AMC show news...Hell on Wheels continued to be better this week. There should be a drinking game for whenever Bohannon stands with his hands on his hips though.

Billy Campbell Talks THE ROCKETEER Blu-ray and Season Finale of THE KILLING

Were you surprised with the reaction that viewers had to the finale of The Killing, or were you expecting to cause a vocal reaction, once you knew things would not be wrapped up, by the end of the season?

CAMPBELL: I guess I was not quite expecting it. AMC feels like they misrepresented their intentions by using that logline, “Who killed Rosie Larsen?,” but they were never going to find, out at the end of the first season. We’re basically a remake of a Danish TV series, and they didn’t resolve it until the end of the second season. It’s not even really a season. It’s just the first half of one story. So, I was vaguely surprised, but then, kind of not. People want to have their payday.

For fans of the show, is there anything you can tease about what can be expected from Season 2?

CAMPBELL: Oh, yeah. They can expect that their expectations will be met. They won’t have to stomp their feet about not knowing who killed Rosie Larsen, after the end of this season. I’m certain that they’ll get what they’re looking for, by the end of this season. Even the network is saying so. What I can tell you is that, man, they have just upped the ante, right off the bat, with this second season. It is intense. The first few scripts have just been thrilling, so I’m well and truly looking forward to the rest of what comes. It’s a remarkably well-done show. I’m really happy to be a part of it.

I know the Killing was very divisive, but I loved it and cannot wait for it to restart. That Rocketeer blu looks pretty sweet too.

****ing hell I can't believe I have to wait almost a whole ****ing year before there's new episodes of this show. the season 4 finale completely blew me away. I love the characters, the writing, hell what's not to like about this show? I can't think of many shows where there are moments that completely blow you away, where you're like "HOLY ****ING ****!!!" I'm glad I finally sat down adn watched this show, best show ever.

And like I figured, AMC is running a Walking Dead marathon on (I think) New Years eve, might be day, check your listings.

Hell on Wheels has really rounded into a great show. They finally got out of the camp last episode and are doing some nice work with the story. This show is moving up the fave lists with, sadly, only 3 episodes to go. Not sure what the ratings have been since losing the Walking Dead lead in but I am really hoping this gets renewed. And there was at least one drinking game/hands on hips moment. If you gave up on this show go back and catch up(not back till Jan 1st), it's worth it.

Hell on Wheels sounds like it could be interesting. Unfortunately i see alot of people camparing it to Deadwood and it falls short. I dont expect it to be as good as deadwood but i will definately check it out this weekend.

Yeah well if you are gonna do a tv western you are going to get compared to Deadwood. They really did nothing to distance themselves from the comparison either. Doesn't have the pedigree of Deadwood so it falls short there, but once you get past that it's a good show thats getting better. Now that they have established things the writers seem to be a little more adventurous. While it may not be must see tv for all yet it definitely could be.

AMC Renews HELL ON WHEELS for Second Season

This is great news. Roenick, Dexter...all you guys who were watching this early on...don't know if you dropped off, but I am telling you that this show has caught up to the promise it started with. I am very happy about this and i expect really good things, dare I say it maybe even great things in the future.

That is until AMC cuts the budget in half right?

well of course. No, I think that may have been exclusive to Walking Dead just because Darabont wanted to run that show like a movie. HoW looks a lot bigger than I think it may be. It's all pretty much single set location and Colm Meaney is pretty much the only name talent on the show. Probably didn't start out with a ridiculous budget.

THE WALKING DEAD New Years Eve Marathon to Air on AMC

If one of your New Year’s resolutions was to get caught up on every single episode of the phenomenal series The Walking Dead, well you’re in luck. AMC will be airing a marathon of the post-apocalyptic zombie survival series all day, Saturday, December 31st starting at 11AM EST with the pilot, “Days Gone By” and running up through the mid-season finale, “Pretty Much Dead Already.” The 13 episodes, based off of the graphic novel series by Robert Kirkman, will be aired back-to-back with the mid-season finale beginning as the clock strikes midnight to usher in 2012 (the pilot and first episode of season two are each ninety-minutes). Hit the jump for more.

Thanks to THR for bringing the marathon to our attention. If you haven’t been keeping up with The Walking Dead since it started in the fall of 2010, this is the perfect opportunity to get brought up to speed. Not only does it offer up an excuse to plop down in front of the TV for hours, it can act as a crowd-pleasing backdrop to your New Years Eve party. It’s a wonder of a conversation starter when a well-meaning sheriff (Andrew Lincoln) shoots a little girl in the face to start the series. I’m sure it would make a helluva drinking game! If nothing else, watching the marathon should prepare you for what NOT to do in the inevitable event of 2012’s zombie apocalypse (i.e. don’t lower your friend into a well to fish out a bloated undead corpse). In the meantime, get caught up on all of Scott’s previous episode recaps to get a taste of what you’re in for or just to refresh your brains before the series resumes on February 12th. Mmm…brains.
