Sarsgaard should be an awesome addition to the show. I'm looking forward to it.
I’ve grown incredibly frustrated with AMC’s treatment of the series, and their inability to openly acknowledge the criticism. Because of the strong ratings, they continue to rub it in our noses that they know what’s best. This doesn’t mean the show has to be bad, in fact, eventually people will catch on. Much like each season before, I continue to keep faith alive that they’ll right the ship and get things on the correct course – only this time they have to convince me to start watching again…
New Mystery, New Characters and New Trailer for AMC’s
Really looking forward to the return of this one. And, I think, the Hell on Wheels return is getting near too.
Nothing about The Killing yet? I didn't catch the whole episode...but I dug the inmate guy and the ending quite a bit.
I'm going to have to catch the rest of it (and got) but I'll be thrilled if her son isn't Carl in this season. The last 45 minutes was all I saw so in sure there are pieces that will make sense. Really dug her "interrogation" on the phone and the facial expressions they made after he realized she was smarter than he thought.Nothing about The Killing yet? GoT was kind of in the way. I did manage to watch the first hour and was holding off until I saw the second...but I really like the year passage of time. I like that their positions have reversed. Liked the interaction between them(which was the best part of the show) and the fact that they both lied to each other(re:smoking, the file). Glad that her son has been tidily placed into a smaller box so far...
Saarsgard...terrific, and I can't see that being cut and dry at all. The street kids was a little annoying till the end of the first episode and what looks like a development I didn't see coming. All in all a really solid return and very promising.
Found it odd that the always good Greg Henry was not in the starring or guest starring credits. Or I missed it. I hope he sticks around a while.
