All Things:Animated

O man!!!!! Thanks for putting that up Adge...we had to miss that, sadly. That clip made all my fears go away. That was funny as hell.

Looney Tunes Headed To Blu-Ray Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors

Announced at San Diego, and available for pre-order on Amazon right now, is the so-called Looney Tunes Platinum Collection: Volume One.

Several of the shorts included were part of the previous DVD sets, but not all of them, and most that were count as genuine cream-of-the-crop cartoons and I for one would like to get my HD collection started.

How long until I?m replacing these with 2k or 4k files, however? Anything less than ten years just isn?t going to cut it in my household. It?s double and triple dips like this one which will finally get me killed by my wife.

Now, as well as the 50 toons, there?s several special features on the discs, including documentary profiles of the Tasmanian Devil and Marvin the Martian.

Here?s the full spec of what?s included, courtesy of the press release:

While not a massive T & J fan...this was a piece of art that I could not walk away from. $40 bought me this, and the pic don't do it justice. Last purchase of the con and a nice way to put it to bed.

'The Smurfs' scores 0 on Rotten Tomatoes | PopWatch | EW.com

No one is expecting The Smurfs to threaten Woody, WALL?E, or Shrek?s place on the Mount Rushmore of animated films ? we?ve seen the trailer after all. But early critical reception for the Sony Pictures Animation film has been more grouchy than Gargamel, with the animated film scoring a perfect zero on Rotten Tomatoes. Which begs the question: How much do you love your children?

Just watched the Thunder Cats premier and it was better than I expected. I was a little iffy on the character designs but they looked pretty good. If they continue progressing the story line instead of endless episodes fighting mummra it could be a decent series. I miss some of the original voice actors and I dont like how they changed snarf but overall I give it a thumbs up
