All Things:Animated

Pretty groovy, I wish they would cut loose and experiment more with the actual show. I know it's cliche' to complain about the Simpsons at this point, it just sucks because every once in a while some odd random little bit of creativity sneaks through and you just KNOW they are capable of more.

Feast Trailer: Disney New Animated Short Features a Hungry Puppy

The first footage from Disney’s upcoming animated short Feast has landed online, and it’s bound to make you quite hungry. Per the official logline, “The story of one man’s love life is seen through the eyes of his best friend and dog, Winston, and revealed bite by bite through the meals they share.” The dog is absolutely adorable in this footage, as he seems to be on a quest to eat each and every delicious thing he comes across. Director Patrick Osborne’s animation style is also highly impressive, and I look forward to enjoying the full short when it’s attached to Big Hero 6.

I know it's just a starting figure but $250 million? Go screw. I'd say the number of roles he didn't get because of a minor cartoon character possibly based on a character he played in a movie once is a pretty slim number.

That being said...the likeness is uncanny. Simpsons is an institution at this point. Sure the number will be way south of asking price, but this will get settled and they will have to fork out some dough. I remember thinking it looked like him when that character first appeared years ago, I wonder why the wait.

The Angry Birds Movie Reveals Its Voice Cast

"Jason Sudeikis (Horrible Bosses, We're The Millers) will lead the cast as Red, a bird with a temper problem. Josh Gad, in his first animated role since Frozen, plays speedy Chuck, and Danny McBride (This Is The End, Eastbound & Down) portrays the volatile Bomb."

"Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live, Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs) has joined the pork side, Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids, The Maya Rudolph Show) will play Matilda, and Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones, X-Men: Days Of Future Past) will play the legendary Mighty Eagle."

Earmarked for a July 1 2016 release in the US, Angry Birds is directed by animation veterans (but directorial newcomers) Fergal Reilly and Clay Kaytis, with a script written by The Simpsons' Jon Vitti.
