I will give you that the Inspector Clouseau and convenience store scenes were awkward...but I think that's a case of him simply connecting with an idea and not really crafting it like he has done in the past. I think that Mallbrats and Clerks 3 are a little more important to him and he will spend some time to capture the groove other than the guerilla style of Tusk/Red State. And sorry, but I still watch Cop Out fondly. Even though it almost ended his career both in his own mind and in the eyes of Hollywood. If I am the only person who digs that film, so be it. It will be my albatross to bear.
