It's mighty quiet in these parts and I'm too old to go digging for old threads. Has covid sucked the life again?

My kids want to go either as the aquabats or different spaceballs characters this year. Okay really they wanted the family to dress up as Steel Panther and I'm trying to "appropriately" find a way to work that in.

Didn't want to pay the $$ for Mickey's halloween party, so probably will settle for this walkthrough thing in woodland hills.

Midnight Mass on netflix is pretty trippy.

Oh and IT'S ALMOST TIME

And go.

I am watching Horror movies all month. Last year I did 31 Movies for 31 Days and I am gonna do it again this year or so help me!!! I've got 6 for 6 so far. My movies will consist of Monster Movies, Dario Argento Movies, and whatever else catches my fancy. Gives me a chance to finally watch some movie like The Witches (1990), hee hee.

Oh, and....

Uh, how do you say no to a "pizza the hut" and a Barf costume request? Bruh, I'm childless but I'm pulling your dad card right now. =)

Monster Cereals are going with an Old School look this year.

I'm watching Just Beyond on Disney+....I mean my kids are watching......right. Cute little anthology series with pseudo-creepy stories. Think of it as a Black Mirror/Creeped Out but more for kids, and so far somewhat more upbeat endings.

Also heard good things about the Muppets Haunted Mansion special. It's on the list

I'll do a summary post later as I am still collecting my thoughts.

What did you peeps watch? On the big day? Or any day of the month?

Our tv was on a rotation of Hocus Pocus, Nightmare Before Christmas and The Great Pumpkin.

This was a complete train wreck in every way, and yet it was so much campy younger oriented fun. It's basically an RL Stine movie without RL Stine. I laughed, I jump scared, I wondered how this story can possibly make any sense whatsoever or why Christopher Lloyd and Rachel Leigh Cook agreed to do it. And I may watch again with my kids tonight.
