Someone mentioned the Bradbury Building in the comments, which would have been a good addition. Also, I think the (long gone) Kaiser Steel Mill would have been another good one.

I am surprised at how many of those locations I have been around considering I never leave my cave, haha.

I sought out the Bradbury Building.

But I came across that Bob's Broiler old school restaurant which I had forgotten about.

That's the area where there is also that old school McDonalds.

I should've gone closer to it, but that would've required me to be around people. mhihi: ;)

But I like killer fish movies. Then again, I am biased.

Here are a few of the things, I wish the article had mentioned:

•*The movie Black Christmas was directed by the late, great Bob Clark (A Christmas Story, Porky's), and is a good movie in its own right. It also features Olivia Hussey, Keir Dullea, Margot Kidder, John Saxon, Andrea Martin and Art Hindle.
•*Piranha II may have been directed by James Cameron, but the first Piranha was directed by Joe Dante (hence it also features Dick Miller) with screenplay by John Sayles.
• If you've ever wondered what it would be like if Vic Morrow had played Quint, the one they called Great White is the film for you. It can also be found under the title L'Ultimo Squalo (The Last Shark). This is a pretty classic really good bad movie. The article did mention that it was blocked for being such a blatant ripoff, and indeed it was marketed (or at least titled) in several overseas markets as some kind of Jaws sequel.

Cracked should hire LetTigerIn!!

A lot of those Cracked articles seem to use Wikipedia as their main source, lol. Don't get me wrong. I still think they are fun, but are often general or broad at best.

I don't mind. I like the articles, too.

And Cracked always reminds me of John Severin, which reminded me that Marie Severin passed away recently. Not sure what I'm trying to say, but enjoyed both of their work very much.
