The Muppets Showrunner Bob Kushell Leaving Series Behind

Scuttle around town indicates Kushnell and co-creator Bill Prady ultimately had different visions for the show and though Kushnell was well liked on set, he was let go.

The series is said to be going on hiatus following the completion of the tenth episode for retooling. When the remaining six episodes air in the spring, it will be viewed as a relaunched program. The show has struggled creatively and to maintain its initial audience, though the show is still considered the season’s highest rank new program on Tuesdays and improved ABC’s standing on that night.

I enjoy the show, but honestly... it needs more Pepe.
