Warner Bros. Offers READY PLAYER ONE to Christopher Nolan

Well, if they're offering it to Nolan, then at least they seem to be taking it seriously. But if they're offering it to Nolan, they may be taking it too seriously.

I figured it'd have to be done a bit like a slightly more intense Scott Pilgrim, what with all the 80s and video game references, so maybe a guy like Wright might be a better choice.

But then, good point about the licensing. That'd be tough given all the specific references.

Winner of the Prize Un Certain Regard Award at this year’s Cannes Festival, Kornel Mundruczo’s newest film is a story of the indignities visited upon animals by their supposed “human superiors,” but it’s also an brutal, beautiful metaphor for the political and cultural tensions sweeping contemporary Europe. When young Lili is forced to give up her beloved dog Hagen, because it’s mixed-breed heritage is deemed ‘unfit’ by The State, she and the dog begin a dangerous journey back towards each other. At the same time, all the unwanted, unloved and so-called ‘unfit’ dogs rise up under a new leader, Hagen, the one-time housepet who has learned all too well from his ‘Masters’ in his journey through the streets and animal control centers how to bite the hands that beats him …

Rare Pics Of James Remar In James Cameron's 'Aliens' Before He Was Fired

One of the biggest mystries of Remar’s career thus far is his departure from the set of James Cameron’s sci-fi juggernaut “Aliens.” It’s not a subject that gets brought up much in documentaries about the film, and the cast and crew have rarely mentioned it in interviews over the years. Remar’s initial claims were, at the time, that he had “urgent matters at home” that tore him away from Cameron’s grueling, London-based shoot, but more recently, he tells a different, more honest story.

“I had a terrible drug problem, but I got through it. I had a great career and personal life, and messed it up with a terrible drug habit… I was initially cast as Corporal Hicks, and I was fired after a couple weeks of filming because I got busted for possession of drugs, and Michael Biehn replaced me,” the actor told Sidebar (via Strange Shapes) in a podcast a few years back.

First Concept Art and Logo Revealed for Disney’s Live-Action JUNGLE BOOK Reboot

As a MASSIVE fan of the Disney version, I am excited and scared of the TWO versions of this story coming out. Gonna be tough to beat this one's B/ Murray as Baloo and Idris Elba's Shere Khan. I do think this one will be far more accessible and 'family' style with Andy Serkis' version probably trending a little more adult. Hopefully they will both be worthy.

Inside the Making of the Spectacular Tesseract in 'Interstellar'

"Slit scan is this process that records one specific location across a whole range of moments. You have a slit and an aperture and you move the negative behind it so the neg is recording everything in a continuous stride as it slides past. For me, what was interesting is that you're turning time into a horizontal axis of the photograph as a record of the time of the exposure," Franklin says.

"So I thought that might give us some sort of lead in to how we would represent the concept of these world lines. A world line is something that comes out of Einstein's theory of relativity: It's the idea that every object, every person, and every piece of matter in the universe is leaving a trail in space-time behind it because we live in a four-dimensional universe. We have three physical dimensions and one dimension of time, which is always moving forward. And we had this idea that the Tesseract was a concept that shows time as a physical dimension, so Cooper could interact with it and move back and forth across the timeline and find specific moments in the history of his daughter's bedroom."
