Riddicks Vin Diesel talks integrity and going R in a PG-13 world

Like the character, even that bloated second movie which suffered from tryingtoohard. Always had a soft spot for 'the Diesel' if only for Saving Private Ryan/Iron Giant. Do love that they pushed so hard and so long for this and wouldn't do it till they could do it right(R rated). If it comes close to being as cool as Pitch Black I will be happy. If you forgot...go back and rewatch Pitch Black. Solid flick and it really has stood up nicely.

Gatchamam was around way before Power Rangers, and was WAY more than just some kid's beat-em-up/giant robot show.

The Future Is Fast And Dirty - Lots Of New Images From Snowpiercer - Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors

Snowpiercer is under a month from release in Korea. Meanwhile, the Weinsteins will be releasing it in the US so… well, there could be some delay. And it might not be quite the same film. They have a history of putting Asian movies on high and dusty shelves, and greeting them with scissors when they get them back down again.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY, GOD, WHY?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!

No.
****ing.
WAY!?!?!?

One of my FAVORITE Neo-Tokyo mechadrama series!!!!!

As long as Mamoru Oshii is involved (and they stick to Itzubuchi's mechanical designs) , it will be GOOD.

I wonder how much it'd cost me to find the original TV series and OVAs on DVD again? For that matter, I'd like Dominion Tank Police also (it's a good old Masamune Shirow joint).

Man, how I wish some enterprising young enterprise-er...ahem...would get a hold of the rights to some of this old-school anime from the 70's and 80's and get it up for sale digitally. I'd love no more than to be able to buy entire seasons of Gatchaman, Macross, Gunbuster, Bubblegum Crash/Crisis, Patlabor, MS Gundam, etc on the iPad.

Orson Scott Card responds to that Ender's Game movie boycott | Blastr

Kinda sad that it's come to this. The guy seems to be excluded from any press/celebration of his work finally getting put on screen. His own fault really for alienating people by opening his mouth, but I stand by my word that his work shouldn't be judged by his misguided opinions(unless it is a clear and direct subtext)...but, full circle, if he hadn't been outspoken. I'm gonna be open minded and not throw the baby out...etc.
