GRAVITY Trailer Starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock | Collider
Man...I do not know if I can watch this movie.
Isn't that the guy from the last samurai who grew to respect tom cruise?
I love him!
At a press conference for Godzilla on Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con, Edwards was asked what he thought of Pacific Rim, and he was genuinely enthusiastic when he offered that he loved it.
?I think it?s great! I love Guillermo, and he was very supportive of this movie, because obviously throughout the process we did a lot of 'What are you doing?' ?What are you doing?? He had nothing but crazy support for us, but [Godzilla] is a very different movie. Ours is obviously set in modern, contemporary times. It?s very much a character-driven movie, which I think is a fair thing to say. It?s got an epic spectacle to it, yet ? and I have to be careful which words I use - but it?s got somber moments as well. It?s quite haunting and quite moving. We tried to make a blockbuster that harks back to the pace and style of the early '80s and late '70s action movies.?
Two years ago, Wrong Turn 2 director Joe Lynch got to show off his horror comedy Knights of Badassdom in Hall H at Comic-Con. The film follows a group of LARPers (Live-Action Role Players) who head out into the woods, end up doing a real spell, and accidentally summon a blood-thirsty demon. As the demon starts picking off LARPers, three friends (played by Ryan Kwanten, Steve Zahn, and Peter Dinklage) have to find a way to defeat the demon. The film also starred Summer Glau and Danny Pudi. The trailer looked hilarious, but then all news on the movie went quiet. It turns out, shady dealings from behind the scenes had taken the film away from Lynch, and that Wade Bradley, the owner of the production company IndieVest, had ?made his own 70 minute cut.? Lynch set up a website explaining the whole ordeal, but that site has now been taken down. Entertainment One (eOne) has now picked up the feature for theatrical and VOD distribution, but when reached for comment on Twitter about the deal, Lynch only responded ?Till I get a call? #NMC?. I?m assuming ?NMC? means ?Not My Cut?. I?m still interested in seeing the finished version, but it?s a depressing end for what looked like a promising feature.

we were 'lucky' enough to have to sit thru this panel @ SDCC and the stars of the panel were the two Nasa dudes who, I think, consulted. The Mod was some science nerd who kept getting all NASA-burtory over the realistic conditions of this movie while saying how he always scoffs at most movies because 'that can't happen'. Seriously, this was my nerd moment of Comicon and I think that someone was waiting offstage to stuff the entire group into a dirty gym locker. Ask SmytheKing...we actually got shusshed during this by people who, five minutes later, could not get out of the room fast enough.
A new trailer has been released for the romantic dramedy, About Time. The film puts a time travel spin on the classic romantic comedy conceit, as Domnhall Gleeson (Anna Karenina) plays a man who has inherited the ability to travel through time from his father (Bill Nighy). Naturally, Gleeson’s character uses his time travel prowess to woo the girl of his dreams (Rachel McAdams), but as with all time travel stories, the powers come with grave consequences. The trailers we’ve seen have cast the film as a serious drama and as a light-hearted comedy, and this new one is definitely the latter. But rather than lay out the whole plot, it boils down the time travel device into one scene, and it works wonderfully.
