All Things:Science Fiction/Fantasy

Seriously, are the makers of that time travel movie two spots up from here going to write a check to the makers of Chronicle for 10% of their profits? At least put the shaky cam away so it is not completely reminiscent.

Almost Human ep #2 was really good too. Who knew they could scan... those? LOL

Yeah, I'm in with everyone else...woke up @ 5:30 am to watch episode 2...Almost Human is VERY good.

Am I the only one not impressed with this show? I watched the first three episodes yesterday. Seems like a standard cop show with standard TV tropes, with a twist. Once you get used to the twist, it doesn't seem particularly out of the ordinary.

P.S. I haven't watched a show on network TV in a long, long time and my God! the commercials. Even with a DVR it drives me insane. Seems like there is more commercials then actual show. I could not watch in real time, I'd kill myself.

Yeah it is getting progressively bland-er as it goes on. Lots of nice pieces, but the overall package is pretty standard.

I agree it it somewhat bland but i do like the main characters and i thought that last episode was really good.

Japan Doing Something Special for Godzilla's Birthday - Dread Central

?‚??‚??ƒ??€€???…???‚??‚??ƒˆ ??žGODZILLA 1954-2014 60th??ž

1954. 2014. 60 years of giant monster destruction. As far as we're concerned, we are forever in debt to Japan for unleashing Godzilla on the world way back when. The creature has become an icon in every sense of the word, and his home country is prepping something big.

We don't know what this is exactly, but we can only imagine that it's going to be as big as Big G himself.

If you click on the red and black image below, you'll be taken to the official Japanese Godzilla website, where you can actually control the onscreen action through your arrow keys and more. Playing with the site via keyboard does quite a bit actually; just make sure you adjust your volume accordingly.

Link above w/mixed up characters will take you there directly.

I kinda disagree about AH becoming bland. Every episode I've seen has been very good, in my opinion.
