All Things: TELEVISON

Anyone try Gang Related? I watched two episodes and it has its moments, but the lead actor is terrible and the show seems unaware you can't be gritty and ridiculous at the same time. Locke and Dutch are highlights, of course, but the presence of Dutch just reminds me he was on a gritty LA cop show that was a hundred times better. I did really like what happened at the very end of the first episode, and then the repercussions and the turn that took in the second episode.

I guess I should start working on Fargo. With regular TV over and hockey and Thrones winding down, my DVR situation seems to be stabilizing.

I like Durand.

Rectify back, on Sundance. Very good show. Quiet, but really moving. S1 on Netflix is only 6 episodes, so catch up and keep up. Also, Defiance back for s2, and Dominion(based on the movie LEGION) start up tonight on SyFy.

I'd like to see the pace analyzed against Penny Dreadful.

No, trust me...Penny is the Hare to Rectify's Tortoise. To say Rectify moves at a glacial pace is an understatement. BUT!!!! It isn't a detriment. Seriously, its a very emotionally impactful show.
