All Things: TELEVISON

Holy ****...is this the most manipulative Seventh Day Adventist psa...Nope. It's a new show on the once proud Peacock.

A ‘Grimm’ Farewell: Season 6 Will Be the Last, New Premiere Date Set
http://collider.com/grimm-cancelled-season-6/

How has this not happened already. Seriously, this is like some Milton-esque situation where the show was cancelled years ago, but due to a glitch, continued to get made. Well just a second there, professor. We uh, we fixed the *glitch*

Don't you dare say deathstroke>Deadpool. I don't care who came first. It isn't a race

Yes it is, but I am a race-ist. :rimshot:

It's not too early for my bad pans, lol. ;)

As much as I like Deathstroke, and I do like Deathstroke, mind you, I don't think even I would make the Deathstroke > Deadpool argument unless I was on absinthe, haha. Deadpool started in the Deathstroke mold, but evolved into something much zanier, and one can't beat the combination of zany and violent. :good:

Really, a lot of these similar characters between DC/Marvel are inspired by one and another rather than complete ripoffs. Drawing inspiration from each other is a long practice in comics and I hope it stands up in court when I try to sell my Spider-mon comics online. It's basically a stoner Spiderman, who doesn't care what Mary Jane looks like, as long as she's smokin'. mhihi: :smoke:

‘Hell or High Water’ Director Set to Produce, Direct Pilot for USA Network’s ‘Damnation’
http://collider.com/david-mackenzie-damnation-usa-networks/

First of all...see Hell or Highwater. One of the better movies I have seen this year. Second of all...looks like USA is trying to enter the big boy leagues. Cutting loose their traditional model shows(Suits and the like). With Mr. Robot, this new show they have coming on about entering the world of dreams(I'll try to at least find the trailer for this once I remember the name)*** and now this. I still miss Up All Night with Rhonda Shear and Gilbert Gottfried...but I like the direction they are taking, genre shows with bigger aspirations.

*** Falling Water

TYRANT:2014-2016

Well, the creators are 'actively shopping' the show to other platforms, but as far as it's FX run...
Inconsistency. It plagued this show from the pilot stage, where showrunners were relieved of duty, stuff was reworked, etc. Through 3 seasons they managed to keep interest...but the seasons definitely sagged in the middle. Usually to come on strong towards the finale'. Season 3 continued this trend. The finale' provided just enough closure to do things justice if the show doesn't find a new home. But, if it does...i'd still watch. Some other complaints...the middle eastern accents were all over the board. Lots of rolling RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRs. The main ME women were stunningly exotic, while the lesser characters looked very much the part. Season 3 especially had MAJOR changes to characters motivations...but I will put that down to Fx saying this would be the last season if numbers didn't pick up. Overall...the show wanted to be the mirror version of Homeland, but just could never get there. I hope it finds a new home...but wouldn't bet much on it.
