All Things: TELEVISON

They already wrote Chevy Chase off the show. They filmed Season 4 completely out of order and he was in the finale. But for some of the episodes, they just said he was somewhere else or they gave him a body double.

I'm 10 episodes behind. I just finished watching the Inspector SpaceTime convention episode. With any luck, I may actually clear my DVR over the summer.

Why are they ending Burn Notice? I don't get that one - I thought it got decent ratings. Now I may end up watching the new USA show this summer, even if I can't stand that guy who played Franco on Rescue Me, because Franco was such a d-bag.

It did get decent ratings. But they were slipping and I think the costs were rising(7 seasons in people want to get raises). I think it was upside-down at this point. 7 seasons is a spectacular run for a low end network like that. And yeah, Franco was a douche, but c'mon man...he was hardly the only one. And he must be a decent actor because he was really good at it. His new character looks to be in line with his strengths.

Had a Terriers marathon yesterday. Telling you...if you haven't seen, it's on Netflix streaming. SO GOOD, exceeded my memories. If they never do anything with it...it ended so beautifully. So open ended. But I would not mind a 2 hr movie. Just so wonderfully scruffy and loveable, like a mutt. Just a terrific show.

Am I stupid for thinking The Blacklist looks fun?

I doubt it will last but I like James Spader.

No, the word is that it tested better than any of their other shows and I agree, Spader is always good, except, apparently, on the office.

I thought he was great on The Office... The Office just hasn't been great in forever.

The first one to go in the tv death pool is going to be "Under the dome"!!!! It is going to fail miserably, at least thats my opinion. Any one else?

It will almost certainly start high and trend downwards, but I think it's only 12 episodes so in the long run it will be considered an average success. There is a lot worse that the majors are going to inflict upon their audiences.

From NBC's list, I'll probably give Blacklist and MJF show a chance. Everything else looks mediocre. It should be obvious why they are bringing back Community and Parks and Recreation since the two other comedies listed, Sean Saves The World and Welcome To The Family, were painfully unfunny and forced.

Yeah, I read that NBC dropped Go On because they were rethinking their whole comedy lineup(oh and the fact that without help it bled like a submarine w/screen doors ratings wise). What this new plan is I don't know. A tragicomedy(Fox) surrounded by a bunch of the same old crap.

Oh, and for those of you still watching Grimm...it is going to be moved back to Friday(again). I tell you, they want an excuse to kill that show. That's the only explanation for taking their one solid if unspectacular winner and doing the hokey pokey with it time slot wise.

OOOfa I defy you to watch the trailers for Sleepy Hollow and Dracula...these are gonna get cancelled before they even air. Jayzus...what a crapfest. I can't even find any optimism in either of these. Just horrible.
