All Things: TELEVISON

No, I agree!

And I am most definitely neither pretentious nor a perv. :)

Adgy isn't a perv. And if you think he is, you are probably just sexually repressed and insecure. As for him being pretentious, I am pleading the fifth (while I drink one). mhihi:

Anyways, I can't think of anything that Paul Bettany has been in besides A Beautiful Mind. Dunno, his biggest accomplishment, in mind is scoring Jennifer Connelly.

My favorite Showtime series, well from the ones that I have watched, is Dead Like Me, which like many a good weird series was cancelled too soon. *sigh*

Thank you, Orph.

No matter what he does for the rest of his life, that will be his biggest accomplishment. I don't care if he cures AIDS and cancer. It would still be that.

IMHO Adgy is neither a perv or pretentious.

In fact I will go as far as giving him the highest of compliments: He seems like a stand up guy and I would drink a beer with him.

Adgy is a prince among men and my brother from another mother...but he is a perv. All those repressed wanna be Asians are. I know Adgy has bought, or at least dreamed of buying, soiled panties from a vending machine. But then again...who hasn't?

OK, I know I will get flamed but Whitney is not all that bad. I was given a chance to grow and the last few have been good. Too bad more shows don't get that chance.

Whitney was given a chance simply because of the amount of money NBC spent promoting what they thought was a surefire hit. It is still underperforming based on their expectations and part of the reason it was given a chance to grow is that the execs would have lost their jobs if they pulled it after 4 episodes. The Chevy Chase show was promoted incessantly and failed miserably, still it was on WAAAAAAY longer than it should have been. I have no problem with you liking the show...i'm sure it's harmless, but don't give credit for the wrong reasons. NBC would have looked ridiculous if they had pulled Whitney like a regular show. Even that cop show with Maria Bello got a full season because of all the hype they gave it.

GRIMM is pretty much bottom feeder stuff. But, despite that, I find myself liking it. If it were to go away I wouldn't cry too hard though. The lead guy is a stiff and the review that described him as a less emotive Brandon Routh was pretty dead on.

Forgive me for veering this thread off topic again, but I would never buy soiled panties from a vending machine. Unless I was 100% sure they were soiled by someone whose soiled panties appealed to me.

I don't want soiled panties from, like, an ugly chick.

Sorry, I never meant to infer that you would indiscriminently buy ANY panties from a vending machine.

Grimm and Once Upon a Time are both shows that are mindlessly entertaining but I certainly wouldn't miss them if they were gone.

Most of the fun comes from the one or two "Oh yea I recognize that name/story/place/thing... *yawn*/eat more chips" moments each week.
