All Things: TELEVISON

Still gotta get to that...the Animation Domination block was showing a lot of wear last night. Bob's Burgers being the best of the bunch. Might be time to shutdown Family Guy. They don't even seem to be trying anymore...and YAY! Zooey D on Simpsons. Annnnndddddddd she sings a song. Hooray. She's so quirky cute. UGH. **** you Simpsons.

i caught the last 45 min, Im not sure what it reminded me of but it reminded me of a different show. Lots of different story lines going on with potential through the season. I will give it a couple more episodes before I make a solid decision on it but it wasnt terrible. And the girl who lives in the adjacent building that you look into is damn sexy

It looks like a grower. Has a weird Fantasy Island vibe like they are gonna have guest stories.

It didn't get a huge push...but the shows that it has as lead ins should have guaranteed decent numbers. Once Upon...and Revenge have solid audiences and 666 Park Avenue seemed like the perfect fit. Surprised that the premiere numbers at the very least weren't higher.

Anyone watched Last Resort? It was really good. I thought it felt a little rushed but I can understand that they wanted to get to the action sooner before the casual audience tune out.

I also never realized how hot Autumn Reeser is until this show. I knew she looked familiar too.

I'll probably watch this one to see where it goes. The promos for this show were so terrible that I wasn't expecting much, but the pilot went in a better direction than I anticipated.

Once I saw Dichen Lachman, I wanted to see a Sierra ("Dollhouse") vs T-1000 (T2) fight.

The Wachowskis Developing Secretive TV Series SENSE8 with J. Michael Straczynski | Collider

Filmmakers Andy and Lana Wachowski (or “The Wachowski Starship” as they affectionately called themselves at Fantastic Fest) are currently enjoying an overwhelmingly passionate response to recent festival screenings of their adaptation of Cloud Atlas, and now it looks like the Matrix helmers are looking to bring some of their magic to the television world. Variety reports that the Wachowskis are currently shopping a TV series called Sense8 to multiple outlets.

Details are unsurprisingly under wraps, but the duo have been developing the idea for some time with writer/Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Stracynski so it’s safe to assume that it will likely have some sort of genre element. The Wachowskis are expected to direct at least a few episodes of the show, and they’re currently looking for a multi-episode order for the hourlong series.

And Speed Racer is a TREMENDOUS movie. I said it.

Cinemax Renews

Rhona Mitra joined “Strike Back” in the current season as Major Rachel Dalton, the new commanding officer of Section 20 as they take on Conrad Knox (Charles Dance), a billionaire with a private army who has obtained nuclear weapons.

Hurm. Like Rhona Mitra...and Tywin Lannister is always good. Anybody watch this? It looks a little cheap-y. Like Skinemax's other softcore shows.

I watch it, and it's become a big guilty pleasure. Lots of shooting, explosions, hand to hand combat, and british accents. There are a few steamy albeit completely unnecessary sex scenes, but only here and there. Definitely not the focal point of the show. They are also not afraid to kill characters off.

It's so ridiculously cheesy. 2 spies from Section 20 against 55 armed and trained mercenaries and they manage to shoot or fight their way out of it. British spies with the best of intentions constantly being hampered by turncoats or government figures who just don't "get it."

And you just can't help but cheer for Section 20 every step of the way.
