All Things: TELEVISON

Hannibal? I dunno... I like that Mads Mikklesen guy. He reminds me of Colin Fraser.

Yeah, Mads and Fishbourne are the main reasons I am interested. Tell ya though, I just think I have no patience for Network tv anymore. Pretty much done with Grimm too. They have become so predictable...some slow moving actual plot with the main characters doled out between the wessen of the week storyline. That one the other night...oofa what a stinkeroo. The creature, when cornered, just took a header off the apartment building. No real reason, just a modus operandi to fill out the 47 minute running time. I hate his girlfriend. She is a gawky ginger and I just don't give a flying rat's ass. Monroe, the only part of the show that's any good, has been relegated to second fiddle comic relief and the only person in the precinct who doesn't seem to know about the Grimm stuff is the asian guy who is top number one comic relief. Pfeh. Waste of my damned time. What was once trashy fun is now just trash.

awwww Ripper Street. Gonna save up another episode and watch tomorrow. Seems pretty involved, I don't think judging after one episode would be fair.

Watched the first 2 of Orphan Black last night. It's ok. A little silly with all the clones, and trying to hard to have that Girl with the...punk rock attitude. But not un-watchable. Can the best friend be more of a poof though? He's entertaining but soooooooo over the top. Jeez, anyone remember subtlety?
And I started watching Copper. Nice stuff, and it will certainly fill the hole in my heart for Ripper Street. But I still, so far, like the older/craggier characters on Ripper.

Caught up on the new episodes of Revolution. First one was awful (so you can escape a helicopter minigun by hiding in the BACK room of a building, but everyone is wiped out if there is just one room in a different building) (they went to all the trouble of the first half of the season for that?), second one was watchable (Stephen King references a bit overdone though), and the third one was back to being good mindless fun. The ultra-fake-looking CGI blood spurting has gone from being lame to being part of the ridiculous fun.

I'm still recording Followings for later but my DVR is so full and I am going to be in serious trouble when every network show is a new episode for the end of April and most of May.

The show is really fun and that's all I care about.

Anyone still watch The Office? They're really moving forward with the story and I thought the most recent episode (with the documentary trailer finally being up on "Youtube") was hilarious as hell. I'll be really sad when this show ends.

Andy getting angry at the youtube comments was pretty funny.

I'm way behind on my Office (back to October 25) but I have them all recorded. For some reason my NBC Thursday night comedies get saved for last. The Office is still pretty funny but plotwise it was spinning its wheels, but at least there is the documentary stuff for the final season. I think 30 Rock might have had some more mileage left (I still have not watched the last four episodes).

I agree with you on Revolution, and will add that Reaper was another show that was just fun (and even moreso). I can live without more Reaper, but I'd definitely watch it if they made it. I'd take more episodes of The Loop (starring the same guy) first though. That show was hysterical.
