All but caught up on this, and like Hannibal it is unlike pretty much anything I have seen on tv before. LOTS of earmarks to the movie, yet that is actually more helpful than harmful and SPOILER

Great acting all around...been a while since Billy Bob has been this much fun to watch. Alternately menacing and cagey with just a tad of calculated goofy thrown in. Freeman...never seen him like this before. He is usually so cuddly, yet here he is a put upon schlub who you ALMOST don't feel sorry for. Not at all for everyone, it's very off putting switching between comedy and darkness frequently...but if you liked the movie you should be quite a fan. Oh, and best part of the show, Adam Goldberg and his deaf fixer partner. Their sign language arguments are hilariously odd.
 
Problem w/Surviving JAck is they really kinda fudged it...one bright flash of overhype and then it just showed up. Ratings were ok, but the reason why they got rid of a LOT of shows is because of ok ratings. Don't know what the deal is at Fox but they tend to hype stuff to extremes, starting the shows off with almost impossible to meet expectations. Gang Related is a great example...that may be the first show to be cancelled during it's premiere. No way that show justifies the hype they have put out so far.
 
Three DC titles going to series? I will check out izombie and Flash (unless he gets too annoying).
 
If NBC gives Constantine the same parameters that it gives Hannibal we could have something really special. Just afraid they are gonna softsoap it and the worst thing is that his Cignature look(smoking more than Keef'N'Ronnie) has already got to be verboten. Won't seem like Constantine without the steady burning silk cuts.

It's a minor point, but I hope they pronounce the name with the long "i." I'm not optimistic, though.

Totally concur, except I likely wouldn't have typed all those hearts. The turning point for Agents of SHIELD seemed to be when they jumped on the movie continuity. It's been great since then.
 
Sorry TC...knew Revolution AND Hannibal wouldn't make it. Hannibal has the lustre of being basically NBC's boutique show...lotsa press love,etc. Let's be honest, Revolution probably shouldn't have got a second season.

Did Hannibal get cancelled, or are you just saying you expect it?
