All Things: TELEVISON

I'm interested to see how Sean Bean puts himself into deep cover that takes months to set up in every episode. I don't know if TBS has the patience to do it by having the whole season (or half of it) be one mission, but THAT would be a good show. I'm calling my agent right now.
Looked again like an episode by episode basis, but at least the VX gas story is getting continued to a 2nd episode if not more. They sure are not afraid of killing off his team members..

I thought Legends was watchable... I'm interested to see how Sean Bean puts himself into deep cover that takes months to set up in every episode. Come on people, they did have this show and it was called Wiseguy. I only wish I had seen it.

John Simm and James Frain Talk INTRUDERS, the Unsettling Tone, Providing Answers by the End of Season 1, and More

From writer/executive producer Glen Morgan (The X-Files), the BBC America drama series Intruders is about a secret society devoted to chasing immortality by seeking refuge in the bodies of others. A missing wife (Mira Sorvino), an assassin (James Frain) covering his crimes and a child (Millie Brown) on the run are all seemingly unrelated, but will intertwine to reveal a conspiracy that will lead former LAPD cop Jack Whelan (John Smith) question everything.

Unsettling tone you say...
Since we no longer have the BBC thread.
Anyway, why am I just hearing about this. I like Frain...True Blood essentially died for me when he got staked. And the premise sounds great especially in the hands of an ex-X-Files guy. Note to self, put this one on the dvr season pass.

Spoiler: Firefly wins.

Jericho beat Happy Endings? Criminal.

Speaking of Firefly, I finally decided to watch it the last two weeks on Netflix. I kept seeing that show's name pop up almost everywhere and decided to check it out. Better late than never right? Didn't even know Adam Baldwin was in it and I loved him in Chuck! The movie was awesome too. I didn't like the end results of it too much, but at least there was closure.

Now I'm upset for two reasons.

1) I hate Fox even more for canceling this show, or better yet... setting it up to fail from the start.

2) Hate my teenage self for missing out in 2002-2003.

Sometimes everybody is right. FOX loves to cancel shows, but at least they try things like Firefly. Is there a show on CBS that is not a reality competition, a cop show, or a lowbrow comedy? FOX's marketing department didn't help ("a space hooker!"), I'll tell you that. I think that if Firefly came out now, with genre shows actually in vogue and people all over Twitter and whatnot, it might have had a chance. Put it on right after Sleepy Hollow.

I still think Whedon should require the movie studio to finance a Firefly movie for every Avengers movie he directs.

I am a leaf on the wind...
