All Things: TELEVISON

Captain Cold is gonna be in the Flash? Remember when that guy had his way with the Flash? mhihi:

Dunno, I want to watch Arrow, but haven't seen any of the previous eps, so I won't know what's going on. Maybe, I'll have to try to get a hold of older eps and try to ketch up. :dancingtomato:

And Sleepy Hollow too, but you know, time and all. ;)

I started arrow on Netflix long after it first aired. Got through season 1 fairly quickly. I have season 3 set for dvr but won't watch until getting through season 2 (which is finally on netlfix).

Probably same for the flash as I heard it piggy backs off arrow

Big Hell's Kitchen Fan. Been watching since Season 2. Hard to believe it's on it's 13th cycle now. Anyway, with the home opener being on Wednesday I missed the episode and just saw it now. Look who shows up at the VIP Table. None other than Mr. Willie Mitchell himself.

He comes in at 23:40 if you wanna catch him eating and laughing at Chef Ramsay yelling at people.

Looks like Flash is gonna be a bit more costume heavy than Arrow. Except for Captain Cold who just looks like Wentworth Miller. No Parka no dice.

Weather wizard didn't really have a costume either.

Now, I'm PRETTY sure this was done on purpose for those of us that watched the last incarnation of The Flash on TV in 1990-1991...BUT...did any of you else notice the Flash's father Henry Allen is actually the Flash from the 1990 show...John Wesley Shipp!

It was probably in articles everywhere but I didn't read any of them, so when I saw him I thought it was an AWESOME touch.

Man and I'm cancelling starz soon. Gonna have to find a way to watch this online somewhere

While I know of better options, this is one of the easiest options.

Watch TV-shows Online | Free TV-show Streams | alluc.org

EDIT: I forgot to add that if you download Ant.com video player, you can download the file to your computer directly from the stream file. This is important because then you don't have to deal with stream buffering and can open the file directly with the Ant player or through another program such as KMPlayer(which I would recommend).

I tried out A To Z as a protest against how Cristin Milioti was treated by the abortion of a series finale of a long-running show that is dead to me. Terrible idea - I attempt to give a new show two episodes, but it was a struggle to get myself to watch the second one and then make it through. She is alright, but the lead guy may be the most bland lead guy in the history of sitcoms, and he is a lamer wuss than even Jed Mosby. His friend is a creepy d-bag, attempting to imitate the Swarley-style lothario, except doing it as a fatty with a giant hipster beard and zero charm. The narration by Gemma/Peg/Leelo is annoying and off-putting, especially the show intro monologue, which is painful beyond belief. The creators of the show probably think it is high-concept. We know down to the hour how long the two leads will go out before briefly breaking up (in a world where the show is not cancelled next week)! Every episode is titled like a Sue Grafton novel!

I have self-cancelled it.

Anyone watching "How to get away with Murder?" I like it

Also, I dont know if it was in here or in the DC thread. How is Gotham? I think Ive only watched the pilot

Most of the postings have been in here. Crickets so far. I know they got picked up for a full season yesterday, which actually kinda sucks because according to what I have read the creator/showrunner has tightly plotted the 1st 16 episodes. So that leaves 4, to either do the 'bottle' thing with, or just pad out the story with some useless episodes. That's why network tv is always gonna suck. The Fx model of 12 and done may leave you wanting more, but at least they don't waste your time and force you to watch ancillary crap just to appease the advertisers. That's why bigger names tend to gravitate towards the prestige shows...less of a time commitment. The networks just continue to cling to an outdated business model.

I think I've finally given up on Gotham. I've watched all of the episodes so far, but last night I ended up turning down the volume and had it on as background noise. That's probably not what they're going for.

I like the idea of it, but the characters just annoy me for many different reasons. Especially Fish Mooney. I see so many people praising Jada Pinkett's acting in this and I just don't understand what they're watching. She's awful.

I thoroughly enjoy Gotham. The only drawbacks are the scenes with young Bruce Wayne are mostly pointless and Jada Smith's overacting, both of which I can live with. I have not seen a single person praise Jada, and I 95% expect her overacting to not make it to the second season. Donal Logue is exceptional, as always, the kid from Southland is solid, Penguin is very good, the style is fantastic, and the stories are just fantastical enough to separate the show from the procedural pack without making it a cartoon.

Isn't a full season currently 22 episodes? That would leave 6, so maybe Gordon, his girlfriend, and Bullock can get kidnapped by the Others and be forced into mind games with rabbits and fish biscuits.

I just finished watching this episode online. As cool as it was seeing Willie, I now remember why I don't watch that show.

I watched the pilot episode for one reason. For about a second the main guy & his friend had on LA Kings gear. Other than that, it's not my cup of tea.
